These items can also be put into promotional bags for groups at the hotels. Many of the businesses have given staff updated information to display in the Visitors Center and coupons when available. Online coupons are most popular and are found on sources such as Link Magazine and Woodlands Online. Businesses have also been given the opportunity to submit free ads that will be displayed on the interactive maps when the screens are not in use. Many of the businesses are on the weekly events email list and find these very beneficial, especially for events held at The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion, Conroe ISD Natatorium and Woodforest Bank Stadium. Staff visited with the above hotels to provide them with Shenandoah dining guides and to check in with them. Many hotel staff members said that this was the worst year for Ironman and the Offshore Technology Conference in hotel stays. Page 4
