1 Welcome to the City of the Future in Southern Europe Belgrade! Arrival to the hotel, followed by some resting time. In the afternoon hours, Belgrade walking tour through Prince Mihajlo s Street (Knez Mihajlova) will be provided and visiting one of the famous restaurants for tasting amazing food.
2 Zoo and wildlife parks... After breakfast, visit to Kalemegdan and ZOO center is organized. Kalemegdan - There is no other place in Belgrade where the history and the grandness of this city can be felt more than at Kalemegdan, the fortress at the confluence of the Sava and Danube rivers. ZOO Center - Belgrade Zoo is located in the city center at Belgrade s Fortress - one of the main historic and tourist attractions of the city. Situated within walls of city s fortress, the zoo is unique not only due to numerous rare animals but its location. Due to this fact, visitors will have a chance to enjoy the charm of the fortress and of the natural wonders, on the grounds on which the first inhabitants of the city built their homes dating back in Neolithic period.
3 Nature & Fancy Restaurant Street A day for nature and food adventure! Kosutnjak & Topcider - Kosutnjak and Topcider are two favourite parks in Belgrade. This is also where the sports and recreation centre Pioneer Town (Pionirski grad) is situated, along with Film City (Filmski grad) with its film studios, workshops and other film production facilities. For skiing lovers, there is also a summer and winter ski-slope on Kosutnjak. Ada Ciganlija - The whole length of the island s beach is lined with over 70 restaurants and an even greater number of cafés, offering the perfect spot for a sit-down and some refreshments after a long walk or swim. The impressive range of food and drink will satisfy even the most demanding tastes.
After breakfast, let s make couple steps back to the past! 4 Dedinje & The House of Flowers Visiting the museum complex in Dedinje known as the Flower House or the Museum of Yugoslav History is the best way to understand Yugonostalgia, a term typical for this region. The House of Flowers in Dedinje is a burial place of Marshal Josip Broz Tito, the president of the former Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia. Perfect for history lovers! Avala mountain - Once a mine and site of ore excavation dating back in Roman times, Avala became a preservation area of great importance, boasting more than 600 species of plants, including various herbs and certain rare species. Zemun Gardos - The first settlement on the site of today s Zemun that we know much about was the Celtic town of Taurunum. The settlement is thought to have been built around 85 B.C. and was located in the area that is today known as Gardos. Gardos is the urban neighbhourhood in the municipality of Zemun, yet preserving its ancient look with its tower and architecture. Let s go back to history!
5 Skadarlija provides a unique experience of Belgrade with its well-known restaurants, bars, antique and souvenir shops as well as the Sebilj fountain. This bohemian quarter represents a remarkable attraction and a true inspiration for writers, artists or just those willing to experience different Belgrade!
