As a permanent reminder of the occasion, the Events Committee, on behalf of the people of Blacko, donated the new bus shelter across from the Rising Sun. The Parish Council is contributing half the cost of Jubilee medals for all children of primary school age living in the village or attending the school, which is meeting the other half of the cost.
