You will need this to record the attendees and will provide you with the site contact details and meet charges. Make contact with the equipment officer to obtain signs and any other equipment you may need for your weekend. At the start of your meet: Place your own unit in such a position that you can be readily seen and approached on arrival. A Stewards sign should be displayed outside your unit. Deploy all road signs at your discretion (without breaking any laws) and collect same at the conclusion of the meet. Locate both DRINKING WATER SUPPLY and ELSAN POINT and mark accordingly with signs The Steward should welcome all campers and give them any information they require. All units to be booked in on arrival and proof of membership sought from all adults that are camping. The Steward is responsible to see that all necessary equipment for the meet is present. A coffee morning on Sunday at 11 am. is normal practice, but this can be changed if prior notice is given. The Steward must ensure that all the appropriate items, Tea/Coffee/Milk, are available. Costs incurred can be reclaimed through the DA and need to be receipted and documented on the booking in sheet. Due consideration must be given to the condition of the field when motoring in and out of the site. LEARNER DRIVERS are NOT allowed to drive on site. Waste water only may be tipped into field hedgerows, not around trees Stewards must ensure that all sites are left in a presentable condition at the close of the meet. Close any gates REMEMBER THIS. The Steward is in charge of the meet. You have been appointed by the committee and you will have their full back up. All CLUB rules must be adhered to After the meet: Ensure all signs are collected and arrange return to equipment officer Arrange handover of monies, receipts & booking in sheet to Treasurer 23

If you are unsure of what being part of the committee involves, please speak with any current member and they will be pleased to talk with you. WOULD YOU LIKE TO CAMP FREE FOR A WEEK- END? Have you considered Stewarding? Stewards get their weekends free. All we ask is that you insure all campers have valid membership cards by signing them in on arrival and collecting the fee for the weekend. You will need to be on site and be people s first point of contact for the weekend but that really is all there is to it. Coffee morning is customary but not compulsory. We are now starting to plan for 2017 so why not give it a go, and have yourself a free weekend? Further information is available from any member of the committee. If you know of a new/favourite site that you would like to steward please let the site secretary know and he will do his best to book it for you. Campers not to arrive before the published opening time & the steward to be the last person to leave the meet when the site closes. 2. All vehicles must be adhered to 5mph while on site. 3. All units must be 6 meters apart, this includes hedges & buildings. 4. Dogs must be under control and on a lead at all times and the lead must not be more than 6ft long outside units. 5. Campers may only use generators with the steward s permission. If the generator is causing a nuisance the steward can ask to have it stopped. 6. Members to take all their rubbish home. Unless on a THS when prior arrangements have been made. 7. Under NO circumstances can dogs be taken into the toilets or halls or any other site buildings. Unless it is a registered guide dog. 8. Halls should be kept locked if not being used by a responsible adult. 9. Quiet in the camping area between 11pm-7am. 10. No unit should be plugged into any electric supply unless it is a bona fide electric hook up, which has been supplied for that purpose. IE No unit should be plugged into a normal 13amp/240 volt supply. 11. All Visitors MUST report to the stewards on arrival. 12. No ball games near the units. No kite flying or any flying of any objects without prior arrangements from the stewards Directions: Banham zoo is signposted from all major routes including the A11 A140 and A143. Please follow brown signs to the zoo. Site is located in the grounds Fire Buckets outside each unit is a strong recommendation and not a club rule. Let s take you back to the 1970 s to celebrate SSDA s 40 th Birthday Come and join us at our meet at Debenham Community Centre on the 10 th -12 th June 2016.They ll be a birthday party during the Saturday afternoon with a chance to look back at some old photos of the DA through the years & you ll get the chance to meet old and new members. Then on the Saturday night you can dance away to the tunes from 70 s and even dress to impress in the clothes from that era which will be just groovy. Directions: From A14 take exit Nacton.
