Private accommodation our school has the premises exclusively Fully lit, undercover walkways between communal areas and cabins Large main dining area with log fire Bunk style sleeping accommodation, each cabin is heated Communal Bathrooms girls and boys separate
What Students Need There is a luggage limit ONE clearly labelled sports bag or medium suitcase and ONE small backpack with snack/lunch for the bus. All clothing and items belonging to children must be clearly labeled. Students require snack and lunch for the first day
Clothing Underwear and socks (4 changes) T-shirts Jumpers/ windcheaters Trousers/jeans/tracksuit/ shorts Parka /waterproof jacket and pants Pajamas/night dress Shoes/sneakers (2 pairs) these need to be closed toed shoes, shoes with straps or thongs are not suitable Hat (compulsory) 1 towel and face washer Toiletry items (soap, toothbrush + paste, hairbrush, roll-on deodorant no spray cans) Plastic bag for wet and soiled clothing Sleeping bag - (We recommend purchasing or borrowing a sleeping bag of good quality in order to keep your child warm at night.) Pillow case (pillows are provided) Thermals Beanie, scarf and gloves for the colder weather (optional) We will be canoeing so a pair of old shoes and clothes may be appropriate.
OPTIONAL ITEMS Camera (disposable only) Books to read Torch Games suitable for the bus trip MP3 players, mobile phones, ipads hand-held electronic games and the like are not suitable for camp. If these items are brought to camp they will be confiscated. No responsibility will be held for these types of items if they are lost or stolen.
CATERING - Day 1 on the bus Students are required to bring their own snack and lunch on Monday 24 th July 2017 Breakfast should be nourishing but light, suitable for a lengthy bus journey. Eaten at home. Morning snack healthy snack and drink. Lunch lunch and drink must be brought from home and be completely disposable (may bring labeled drink bottle) NO glass bottles and NO additional snacks to be brought e.g. lollies and treats, as the venue will provide sufficient catering for the children.
MEDICATION
Day 1 travel to Donegan s Farm to engage in farm related learning tasks. Travel to Cave Hill Creek, settle in, begin camp rotations. Bush walk at night. Day 2 continue rotations throughout the day including; canoeing, bush cooking, archery, ropes course/initiative games. Trivia night in the evening. Day 3 complete final rotations, have lunch and returning to school.
Camp Contract (Yellow) To be signed by both the child and a parent Parental Permission Form (Blue) Must be signed by a parent/guardian. Please make sure contact details are correct Medical Form (Pink) If unsure of your child s last tetanus shot, this needs to be arranged. Medication will be administered by Mr Gough according to directions given by the note from parents. Children with Asthma need to complete the Asthma Management Plan and return the week before camp (supplied if required) Dietary Requirements (Green) All cultural/dietary requirements are met Variety of fresh and healthy breakfasts, lunches and dinners Students can have seconds if they wish Medicine Authority (Purple) Any medication that your child requires on camp cannot be administered without being listed on this form, including Paracetamol, Ventolin, antihistamines
