1. Opening: The meeting opened at 4:25 pm and attendees were welcomed by the National Chair. 2. Apologies and Quorum: Andrew Smith read the apologies: Brent Quill 3. Unconfirmed Minutes: The minutes of the Annual General meeting at the Convention Centre, Canberra, on Thursday 27 August 2009 were confirmed. Harry Ennis Phil Honeywood 4. Report of the National Chair: Kay Ganley presented her report and thanked Board members and Committee members for their contribution, particularly outgoing Chair and Deputy Chair Martins, and retiring members Mark Lucas, Tracy Edington-Mackay. It was noted that Life Member Dr Peter Harris and past Chair Julie Moss were in attendance. Kay Ganley Dion Klein 5. Governance & Audit Committee Chair Report: a) presented his report. b) presented the ACPET 2009/2010 financial report. Mark Lucas Peter Ryan c) Appointment of Auditors It was proposed that ACPET appoint Trumans Chartered Accountants, Chatswood, as company auditors for the year 2010/2011, and to tender during 2010/2011 for the audit of ACPET accounts for the year 2011/2012.
