Message from the Show Chairman Having kicked off our fund raising for the 82 nd Midwest Dahlia Conference Show, we the Michigan Dahlia Association will be hosting September 5-6, 2015 at Washtenaw Community College in conjunction with our 67th Annual Show. We need everyone's help! I know, you are saying "I only like to grow Dahlias for my own enjoyment, not show them". WE NEED YOU!! We have set up committees for Fund Raising, Lodging, Banquet, Hospitality and the Show; including greeting guests and helping get their Dahlias in for staging. If you would like to help on one of these committees or sponsor a position or a memorial on the Court of Honor by making a donation or donate a gift; to our Boutique or for a door prize at the Saturday night award Banquet or know someone who would, please call Don Warden 734-753-5336, David Knox 248-330-4078, Cynthia Feller 313-729-6375, Lil Rumple 734-550-9395 or Annise Nicholas 734-429-5796. Don Warden Show Chairman President s Message On behalf of the Michigan Dahlia Association, I would like to welcome all new members to the MDA and also newly returning members. As you all know, this year we are hosting the 82 nd Midwest Dahlia Conference Show in conjunction with our 67 th Annual Show. I am looking forward to us hosting a great show, but it will take the work and effort of all of us. I hope you are all planning to attend, participate in, show and help in our big event. By now you should have checked your tubers to prepare for this spring. Remember, that our Tuber and Plant Sale this spring and the Midwest Dahlia Conference Plant Sale in June are our sources for funding this Midwest Dahlia Show. Please plan on donating some of your tubers and plants for our sales and participating. With your effort and support I look forward to a successful year and Show. David Knox President
