YOUR INVITATION Split Paul Cranny and Paul Carter are thrilled to invite you to join them on one of two exclusive, one week cruise charters along the beautiful Croatian coast next summer. With the best part of 50 years of cruise ship experience between them, most memorably with Swan Hellenic, this is something that they have been discussing for a while now and they are delighted that Paul Cranny has secured an exclusive charter of the beautiful Queen Eleganza. Currently under construction in Croatia, she will enter service in Spring 2018 and features just 18, fully en-suite cabins ensuring high levels of space and comfort. Public areas are spacious and life on board will be fun, casual, relaxed and informal. Famed for its outstanding natural beauty and long history, the Croatian coast is an increasingly popular cruise destination, but from the comfort of our small ship we will try to avoid the crowds and enjoy the ease of access that such a sized vessel can afford. NORTHBOUND #PC01 (9 Days) Thursday 26th July 2018 - Saturday 4th August 2018 THURSDAY 26th JULY - LONDON - SPLIT On arrival in Split you will be transferred to your hotel for a 2 night stay (on bed & breakfast basis). The daytime will be free for you to explore this wonderful town at your own leisure. FRIDAY 27th JULY - SPLIT After a morning walking tour of the town, the afternoon is free for you to enjoy and explore in whichever way you decide. SATURDAY 28th JULY - SPLIT Mid-day embarkation. Evening welcome dinner on board the Queen Eleganza. SUNDAY 29th JULY: SPLIT - ŠIBENIK Coach trip (approx. 10 km) to the breath-taking Krka National Park. Overnight stay in Šibenik. MONDAY 30th JULY: ŠIBENIK - ZADAR A drive to Novigrad where a local boat will transport you up the Zrmanja River Gorge to Obrovac (90 min. ride). Your coach will then take you on to Mićanovi Dvori for lunch, after which you will return to Zadar for an evening walking tour. TUESDAY 31st JULY: ZADAR - RAB On your continuing journey, the Queen Eleganza will hopefully make a swim stop at Pag, before arriving at the port of Rab in the late afternoon for the opportunity a walking tour. WEDNESDAY 1st AUGUST: RAB - CRES After a morning tour of the city you will be taken by coach to the famous Bukaleta Lamb Restaurant for lunch. In the afternoon, enjoy a walking tour of the nearby ancient fort city of Lubenice. Dinner on board. THURSDAY 2nd AUGUST: CRES - RABAC After a morning swim stop, there will be a walking tour of Labin. You will then be driven to Kukurini where you will be able to participate in a wine tasting session and sample some local cheeses at the Baćac Winery. FRIDAY 3rd AUGUST: RABAC - OPATIJA A swim stop in the morning will be followed by a BBQ lunch on Sun Deck. Enjoy a walking tour of Opatija in the afternoon and the cruise ends with the Captain s Dinner on board. SATURDAY 4th AUGUST - OPATIJA Departure for the airport after breakfast on board. SOUTHBOUND #PC02 (8 Days) Saturday 4th August 2018 - Saturday 11th August 2018 SATURDAY 4th AUGUST: OPATIJA Arrival and evening welcome dinner on board the Queen Eleganza. SUNDAY 5th AUGUST: OPITIJA - RABAC A morning swim stop will be followed by a walking tour of Labin, following which you will be driven to Kukurini where you will be able to participate in a wine tasting session and sample some local cheeses at the Baćac Winery. MONDAY 6th AUGUST: RABAC - CRES After a morning tour of the city you will be taken by Coach to the famous Bukaleta Lamb Restaurant for lunch. The afternoon will comprise of a walking tour of the nearby ancient fort city of Lubenice. Dinner on board. TUESDAY 7th AUGUST: CRES - MALI LOŠINJ After breakfast we will make a stop at the lovely island of Unije where you can take a swim or visit the sandy beach of Sušac. BBQ lunch on Sun Deck. We will arrive early afternoon so you will have plenty of time to explore Mali Lošinj s gorgeous ocean-front path & flowered walkway. WEDNESDAY 8th AUGUST: MALI LOŠINJ - ZADAR An after breakfast swim stop will be followed by lunch on board. We will arrive in Zadar early evening for a tour of the town including a visit to its famous Sea Organ. Dinner will be on board. THURSDAY 9th AUGUST: ZADAR - ŠIBENIK Coach trip (approx. 10 km) to the breath-taking Krka National Park. Overnight stay in Šibenik. FRIDAY 10th AUGUST: ŠIBENIK - SPLIT After an early departure, we hope to offer a swimming stop by the town of Primošten. Enjoy a BBQ fish lunch on Sun Deck, before our walking tour of Split. Captain s Dinner in the evening. SATURDAY 11th AUGUST - SPLIT After breakfast on board you will be transferred to your hotel for an overnight stay (bed and breakfast basis). Your daytime will be free for you to explore the wonderful town of Split at leisure. SUNDAY 12th AUGUST - SPLIT Departure from hotel at lunchtime after which you will be transferred to the airport for your return flight home.
KRKA NATIONAL PARK Krka National Park is situated along the Krka River in southern Croatia. It s known for a series of 7 waterfalls. In the south, Skradinski Buk waterfall is flanked by traditional watermills. To the north, a nature trail passes another striking cascade, Roški Slap, and the Krka Monastery, built above ancient Roman catacombs. Visovac Island is home to the 15th-century Franciscan Monastery of Our Lady of Mercy. ZADAR SEA ORGAN & GREETING TO THE SUN The Zadar Sea Organ looks just like a series of broad steps leading down into the water, but it is actually a perfect blend of human engineering and the energy of nature. The lower steps allow water to flow in which push air into resonant chambers. This produces a wonderful array of mystical harmonies. Because the sea is constantly shifting, every sound created is unique. The Sea Organ is a fantastic place to relax and ponder. LUBENICE Lubenice is an ancient fort city on the island of Cres, Croatia that was founded approximately four thousand years ago. Perched on an exposed rocky ridge, 378m above the western shore of the island, this medieval hilltop hamlet is one of the most evocative places on Cres Island. Semiabandoned, Lubenice s maze of ancient austere, stone-built houses and churches seems fused to the very bedrock of the island itself. BACAC WINERY The family of Bacac have been producing wine from their Vineyards in Kukurini for over 3 generations. The vineyards themselves are around 280m above sea level, and this, together with the climate, allows them to produce a wine that is full, rich, harmonious and complex. In recent years the wines produced by Vina Bacac have won many awards including several gold medals at national and international levels. Artists Impression QUEEN ELEGANZA For our very first Croatian cruise, we are delighted to have chartered the newly built Queen Eleganza whose maiden voyage is in the spring of 2018. Beautifully crafted by Croatian hands, this is one of the finest Croatian flagged vessels of her kind and, with a maximum of just 32 guests, there is the added benefit of a relaxed and informal atmosphere on board. The team of friendly Croatian crew members all speak English and their excellent service and hospitality will do much to add to your enjoyment. Meals served on board have a homecooked feel and feature wholesome, fresh and tasty Mediterranean cuisine and to enhance your Croatian experience, on some evenings, we would like to take you out to dine ashore in recommended popular local restaurants. This is the perfect ship to escape the formalities of larger vessels and enjoy the casual nature of small ship cruising along the most beautiful of coastlines. YOUR CABIN The 17 cabins are furnished to the highest standard with sleek lines and neutral colours. All are equipped with an ensuite bathroom (with shower), safe, air conditioning/heating, hairdryer and flat screen TV. Most cabins also feature a dressing table and chair. The cabins on the Lower Deck have two portholes whereas on Main Deck (the Saphire Suites) have three portholes and the Diamond Suite has four portholes. The Emerald Suites on the Main Deck, have a large picture window offering wonderful views. The cabins range in size from 14.5m2 for the Saphire Suites to 26m2 for the Diamond Suite. YOUR DINING Meals on board are a casual affair. Breakfast is buffet style. Lunch and dinner are served and feature locally sourced fresh food. In good weather, there will be the opportunity to dine al-fresco. House wine/beer and soft drinks are included free at any time and there is a 24 hour tea/coffee station. At least 3 meals will be served ashore in local restaurants.
LIFE ON BOARD The atmosphere is casual and relaxed, with the dress code reflecting this. With just 32 like-minded passengers, the mood is intimate, and what better way to enjoy the views of the magnifcent islands and cities than sitting on the Sun Deck watching the world pass slowly by. Part of the joy of a cruise aboard this vessel is her capability to dock in small ports or drop anchor in any suitable spot. The experienced Captain and his crew are trained in the highest safety standards. Being such a small operation, the close-knit team work excellently together and will enrich your overall enjoyment of small ship cruising.
