Showcase your capabilities in the tropical north ADIA is very pleased to announce that DRILL 2019 is being held in the Northern Territory between the 17th and 19th of September at the Darwin Convention Centre. The theme of the conference is "Drilling down on Skills". The single, biggest impediment to further expansion of drilling services in Australia is a lack of skilled personnel. We therefore felt it appropriate that DRILL 2019 focuses on how the industry is dealing with and responding to this. The Darwin Convention Centre is fantastically located on the waterfront in the Darwin Harbour precinct and is perfectly sized for our event. All exhibitions and presentation sessions will be indoors, making use of the flexible layout on offer. One of the major benefits of the location, apart from the warm and balmy weather, is that delegates and exhibitors will be able to network at the end of the day in the multitude of indoor/outdoor bars and restaurants that are all contained in the same close-knit area. Our conference delegates have repeatedly told us that their preference is for a conference where this is possible so as to keep the day-time momentum going. We have reserved space in halls 1&2 which will give us a total area of about 2 000 square metres. The gold, silver and bronze sponsorships will include upgrades to more floor space and included staff numbers proportional to the investment level. Other exhibitors will have the option of purchasing multiple booths and turning them into open floor space for showcasing larger equipment or doing a custom stand build. In total we have 62 exhibition booths and the layout of these can be seen later in the prospectus. The full conference program will feature a welcome cocktail party in the exhibition area on Tuesday evening and themed dinners on Wednesday and Thursday evenings. We will also be ensuring that there is an interesting and highly informative range of presentations covering equipment technology, business management, tooling innovation and skills. We encourage exhibitors who would like to do a presentation on their product or service, to contact us as soon as possible. The sponsorship packages include recognition at the various key events which will provide further brand exposure and opportunities for making a short presentation to guests. Gold and silver sponsors will also receive complimentary advertising in Australasian Drilling leading up to the conference. In keeping with our skills theme, we are also planning on holding one or two of our industry led training courses in the days preceding the conference. Exhibition attendance: DRILL 2017 held on Queensland s Sunshine Coast had a total attendance of almost 400 people. Many of these travelled from overseas countries including New Zealand, Indonesia, China, Malaysia, India, Canada and the USA. See the chart opposite for their relevant industry sector. With favourable industry conditions continuing to increase, ADIA expects an even larger turn-out in Darwin for DRILL 2019. The Darwin Convention Centre has some fantastic exhibition spaces on offer. The conference dates are Tuesday evening on the 17th and full days on Wednesday 18 and Thursday 19 of September 2019 Bump in of larger equipment (trucks, drill rigs, compressors etc) starts on Monday morning 16th September. This equipment will need to be brought into the exhibition hall and located close to final position by midday to allow the construction of surrounding booths to commence. All other smaller sized equipment that will fit inside of a booth cannot be brought in until after 11.00am on Tuesday 17th. Please ensure that your staff are available at these times. Bump out is Friday September 20 between 0800-1200. Exhibitors can start to dismantle after the afternoon tea break on Thursday. The venue will provide a fork lift with 2.2T capacity which will be provided to exhibitors inclusive in your rate. On-demand rates will be negotiable for additional lifting and loading requirements. Payment terms A 50% deposit is required to confirm your booking, with the balance to be invoiced in July 2019. Full payment to ADIA must be received by the due date. Cancellations If you advise of the need to cancel your booking prior to April 30th 2019, no cancellation fee will apply. If you cancel your booking between May 1st and July 31st, a 50% cancellation fee will apply. Cancelled bookings after this date risk losing any payments made. All cancellations must be provided in writing. Sponsorship allocation Sponsorship packages will be sold on a "first come, first served basis" from Monday January 14 onwards. The deposit to secure a booking is required within 5 business days thereafter. In the event that we simultaneously receive more requests for sponsorship packages than there are available, then ADIA will revert to a ballot system to determine the allocations. Exhibition booth allocation Exhibition booths will be sold on a "first come, first served basis" from Monday January 14 onwards. The deposit to secure the booking is required within 5 business days thereafter. Inclusions Exhibition booths do not come with any supplied furniture. Exhibitors will need to arrange this themselves and can do so by contacting the preferred supplier Fusion, who can supply a basic package or something more elaborate. ADIA takes no responsibility for contracts made in this regard as they are between the exhibitor and the supplier.
