Day 4 - Monday Virgin Gorda This solitary island is a geological curiosity: large granite rocks weathered by time form natural, emerald-coloured pools with a white sandy bottom. Ship at anchor. Beach and water sports. Inclusive of crayfish picnic. Day 5 - Tuesday Jost Van Dyke This tiny, mountainous island belonging to the UK Virgin Islands, is reputed to be named after a Dutch pirate. Day 6 - Wednesday St Kitts Its elegant Georgian style houses are a reminder of the island's British past. Deshaies On the most lush side of the Ile Papillon, Deshaies is a perfect example of the simple charms of Creole life. Excursions of your cruise Antigua / Safari and beach You'll discover the island off the beaten track, in a jeep. This is English countryside in the tropics, with charming, authentic hamlets and the remains of historic refineries that bear witness to the intensity of the sugar industry, before exploring some luxuriant tropical forest. You'll end the day with a swim on the magnificent Caribbean coast. Antigua / Swim with the rays (1/2 day - afternoon) * Adrenalin guaranteed for a rendez-vous with pastenague rays. After a 30-minute bus ride and a ride in a speedboat, you'll get to Stingray City for a super, safe, sensory experience. Even non-swimmers can see these strange and gracious creatures twirling through the shallow water. Day 4 - Monday Virgin Gorda / Panorama The local, open-top bus, will take the mountain road, giving you the most fabulous and astonishing views. You'll come to some strangely enticing geological formations called The Baths - natural pools where you can swim before going back to picnic at Fisher's Cove House. Day 6 - Wednesday Saint Kitts / Best of St Kitts Brimstone Hill fort rises some 250 metres above sea level. This "Gibralter of the West Indies" as it was called in the 17th century, is one of the best preserved forts in the Americas. You'll also see a batik demonstration by local craftsmen. Deshaies - Botanic Garden Basse Terre - The Mamelle park Don't miss the incredible Botanic Garden, based at the former home of the comedian Coluche. You can see a dazzling array of tropical flowers and plants, a breathtaking waterfall and cute little birds from the parrot family. Then we'll round off the trip with an aperitif. A superb excursion to discover the fauna and flora in the north of the island: you'll visit the Cascade aux Ecrevisses and walk in the Parc des Mamelles animal park where, if you have a head for heights, you can do the canopy tour. Day 8 - Friday Fort de France / the Gardens of Balata (1/2 day - morning) * Flower Island presents the most beautiful show nature can offer. The Caribbean's entire bio-diversity can be seen in the Balata Gardens' unique botanical collection. The suspended bridges add perspective and astonishing sensations.
