Olá/Hola/Ciao/Bonjour/Γειά σου/hallo/god Dag/Salut/Zdravo/Hello We open October with the last thoughts about the VIII European Geoparks Network held in Idanha-a-Nova but with strong impact in all the Naturtejo Geopark. This time we leave some last words from the organizers of the successful Idanha Film and Internet Festival. IFIF has finally born. Brought to life by the merit of an amazing and tireless group of dedicated warriors. IFIF has finally reached its outcome. The Idanha Film and Internet Festival, throughout its three days of screenings, showed that it is possible to gather together artists and film-makers, including several Geoparks all over Europe, in a cooperative harmony, regardless prizes and vanities, in which the sole purpose is the celebration of a new sustainable planet. The IFIF proved to be possible to bring to life a festival of human wills ready to work together in the same wave of change. Naturally, this festival would have never come to life, without all directors from every corner of the planet, delivering the master pieces of their effort, the dozens of movies that the IFIF proudly presented on the internet, walls and canvas, including the epic presentation on Penha Garcia Dam and for the first time in Portugal, windowing a new hope, a new call for a different way. The path was long and tortuous, through stormy clouds and winds of change, however not one moment any of its founding members ever doubted the righteousness and truly genuine character of IFIF mission. The organizers of the IFIF, would like to thank every director for its outstanding generosity, by endorsing with their amazing works, this cause of global cooperation for change, through the magic powers of the audiovisual creation. Thank you, to all the talented directors, believing sponsors & supporters, tireless technicians that worked in four different places Penha Garcia, Idanha-a-Nova Castle, School of Management and the World Wide Web, amazing volunteers, to every viewer and cyberviewer, to everyone believing and supporting this cause. For them we would like to dedicate the birth of this new paradigm in audiovisual cooperation. The IFIF, more than from anyone else, was, is and forever will be theirs. Keep looking for us, keep counting on us, keep coming to us and stay up-to-date to our following evolution. Many thanks to all! Many thanks to you, Jorge! 2

This was the first time a group of non-iberian students and teachers participated in the Naturtejo Geopark Educational Programs! 22 students and 2 teachers from the University of Trier came in the scope of the course Tourism Geography. Guided by Manuela Catana and João Geraldes they visited the Ichnological Park of Penha Garcia and the Monsanto Inselberg.
