Day 1 ** Apr 7 Honolulu Taipei We begin our journey by boarding an international flight to Taiwan. Meals and snacks will be served on the plane. Day 2 ** Apr 8 Overnight in Taipei Upon arrival at Taipei, we will proceed to immigration & customs. Then we will board a shuttle bus to an overnight hotel near Taoyuan Airport. Day 3 ** Apr 9 Taipei Denpasar (D) After arriving at Bali Denpasar International Airport, an Air & Sea Travel representative will greet and escort us to our hotel. Bali, the famed Island of the Gods, with its varied landscape of hills and mountains, rugged coastlines and sandy beaches, lush rice terraces and barren volcanic hillsides, all provide a picturesque backdrop to its colorful, deeply spiritual and unique culture. A welcome dinner will be arranged at our hotel. Hotel accommodation: Ayodya Resort Bali or similar 5* Day 4 ** Apr 10 Denpasar (B, L) Today, we will start up with a Barong and Keris Dance Performance, a Balinese show that features the amazing story between fighting evil and good character. We continue with a visit to Celuk Village, a famous village located in the countryside in the sub district of Sukawati, Gianyar Regency known for gold and silver crafting. We will have a Crispy Duck lunch in Ubud. In the afternoon, we will visit the holy spring water temple, Tirta Empul Temple or Tampak Siring, a Hindu temple located in a valley between two hills with big springs. It is held sacred by the local residents as a place to melt all the bad influences in the body and purify the soul and mind. Then we will stop to visit exquisite Rice Terrace Views. Day 5 ** Apr 11 Denpasar (B, L) After breakfast, we will visit Mengwi (Taman Ayun Royal Temple), the royal temple of the Mengwi Empire. The beautiful temple building with its multistoried roof is representative of Balinese architecture. The wide beautiful landscape garden in the front courtyard welcomes all visitors who come to visit this temple. The next stop is Bedugul with a beautiful panoramic view of Bratan Lake and Ulun Danu Temple. Water temples serve the entire region in the outflow area; there are many smaller water temples downstream that are specific to each irrigation association. After a buffet lunch, we will visit Tanah Lot, the iconic Sea Temple built on a barren rock by the ocean. Day 6 ** Apr 12 Denpasar Singapore Enjoy some leisure time after breakfast. Today, we will fly to Singapore. Upon arrival at Singapore International Airport, an Air & Sea Travel representative will greet and escort us to our hotel. Singapore is a huge, modern, affluent city with skyscrapers, a subway system, a medley of Chinese, Malay and Indian influences, a tropical climate, tasty food, good shopping, and a vibrant nightlife scene. Today, you can explore the charm and dynamic beauty of Singapore on your own. Hotel accommodation: Marina Mandarin Singapore Hotel or similar 5* Day 7 ** Apr 13 Singapore After breakfast, we will enjoy a Day Safari at Singapore Zoo. We will be able to get up close to see wildlife such as white tigers, pygmy hippos, and even naked mole rats. After lunch, we will visit Chinatown and Thian Hock Keng Temple, one of Singapore's oldest Buddhist-Taoist temples. Stop by a Local Handicraft Center and observe craftsmen at work up-close. Explore the Civic District of the city, passing by the Padang, Cricket Club, historic Parliament House, Supreme Court and City Hall. After this, we will enjoy an informative educational tour of the desalination water center, named The NEWater. Day 8 ** Apr 14 Singapore Enjoy a walking tour today. Our first stop is at the Merlion Park to enjoy the impressive views of Marina Bay. Do not miss out on a picture-taking opportunity with The Merlion, a mythological creature that is part lion and part fish. Then we will visit Gardens By The Bay. We don t want to miss Supertree Grove, where we'll find a cluster
of iconic, futuristic structures designed to perform environmentally sustainable functions. Then, head to the Cloud Forest Dome to see the world's tallest indoor waterfall and learn a bit about biodiversity. After that, we can enjoy shopping in Singapore. Day 9 ** Apr 15 Singapore Malacca Kuala Lumpur A scenic 3-hour drive North of Singapore takes us to Malacca, the oldest trading port in Malaysia which had undergone Portuguese, Dutch and British rule. After arrival, we will stop for our Local Nyonya Lunch. After lunch, we will visit St. Peter s Church (1710) the oldest Christian Church still in use in Malaysia. Drive past the largest 17th Century Chinese Cemetery outside of China, located at Bukit China or Chinese Hill. Stop at the foothill to view the Sultan s well before driving through the Portuguese Settlement. Proceed to view the gateway, Port De Santiago and the Ruins of St. Paul s Church lined with 17th century Dutch tombstones. Next on the list is Red Square the salmon pink Dutch administrative buildings which today house the Malacca Museum and government offices. Take a stroll along Malacca s Jonker Street, which ends by the banks of the Malacca River. Then, we will proceed to Kuala Lumpur and check-in to our hotel. Hotel accommodation: Park Royal Hotel or similar 5* Day 10 ** Apr 16 Kuala Lumpur Enjoy breakfast at the hotel. Today, take a grand city tour of Kuala Lumpur, with a photo stop at the Istana Negara. Built in 1857 and home to a Chinese merchant and his family, this mansion is now the official residence of the King of Malaysia. Continue to Chinatown and drive through the oldest part of the city. See the Masjid Jamek, the oldest mosque in the city built on the historical site where Kuala Lumpur derived its name. Dataran Merdeka is the site of the nation's historic Declaration of Independence. The area surrounding the square boasts unique Colonial Era Landmarks such as the Sultan Abdul Samad building and St. Mary's Anglican Church. Visit the Royal Selangor, the biggest, oldest and most reputed pewter maker in the world since 1885. Pass Embassy Row, known for its embassies and highly desirable residences such as the Sharif Ali Palace. Arrive at the Kuala Lumpur City Center, topped off by the stainless steel and glass complex of the Twin Towers, the world s tallest buildings at 405 meters. After lunch, head to the Batu Caves, a massive limestone outcrop that lays across the scarred landscape of an old tin mine. At the base of the outcrop lies a small Hindu shrine displaying various Hindu deities. The Cathedral Cave, the largest and most popular cavern in Batu Caves is breathtaking with huge shafts of light streaking down from gaps in the roof of the cave and piercing the natural darkness of its interior. Our last stop of the day will be the Batik Design Center where both hand drawn and block printing methods of this ancient Malaysian wax painting art form are demonstrated here. Day 11 ** Apr 17 Kuala Lumpur Chiang Mai (B, D) Leisure time in the morning until we depart for the airport. We will fly to Chiang Mai, the largest city in northern Thailand and the most significant cultural city. Upon arrival, we will have dinner before checking into our hotel. Hotel accommodation: Le Meridien Hotel Chiang Mai or similar 5* Day 12 ** Apr 18 Chiang Mai Today s highlight is the visit to Mae Ping Elephant Camp to see the 'Elephants at Work' Show. We have an opportunity to Ride the Elephants crossing the river and into the forest (about 1 hour). Then return By Oxcart to the elephant village and enjoy a Bamboo Rafting Adventure on the river (45 minutes). On the way to the camp, drive up to Doi Suthep Mountain to visit Prathat Doi Suthep complex with many stunning gold-leaf structures and images; we ll also be able to get a panoramic view of the city. Return to Chiang Mai after a full day tour. Day 13 ** Apr 19 Chiang Mai Chiang Rai Today, we will transfer to the border town of Chiang Rai. First stop will be Maekhajan Hot Springs, a good spot to take a morning cup of coffee before heading up to Chiang Rai where will stop to see the stunning Wat
Rong Khun, frequently referred to as The White Temple. Chieng Saen, situated on the banks of the mighty Mekong River is our next stop. Chiang Saen was once the site of an important northern Thai kingdom and much surviving architecture and Buddha images can be found in this area. We will see one of the better preserved temples - Wat Chedi Luang. After lunch, we will visit Ban Thaton with its Karen Paduang Long Neck & Long Ears tribes, Akha tribes and Palaung tribes village. Hotel accommodation: Le Meridien Hotel Chiang Rai or similar 5* Day 14 ** Apr 20 After breakfast, we will take our journey to Mae Sai, the northern most city of Thailand bordering Myanmar. There are hundreds of open markets, where you can enjoy shopping or browsing. After lunch, we will continue to the Golden Triangle, the meeting point of Myanmar, Thailand and Laos. It is well-known as the center for opium trade. From here view the splendor of the mighty Mae Kong River joining the Ruak and forming the "triangle" with Laos, Burma and Thailand. Transfer back to our hotel. Hotel Accommodation: Novotel Bangkok Ploenchit Sukhumvit or similar 5* Chiang Rai Day 15 ** Apr 21 Chiang Rai Bangkok (B, D) Today, we will fly to Bangkok, the capital and populous city of Thailand. Upon arrival, an Air & Sea Travel Center representative will greet and escort us to our hotel, where we can enjoy our stay in our Premier Executive Room and the use of the Premier Lounge where complimentary refreshments are available. The night ends with a Lady Boy Show in Bangkok. Day 16 ** Apr 22 Bangkok (B, L) After breakfast, we have an all day Exciting Bangkok City Tour. We will visit the most interesting parts of Bangkok, including stops at the Temple of the Reclining Buddha (Wat Pho), famous as the oldest and largest temple in Bangkok; the Grand Palace, Coronation Hall and the holiest of all Thai Temples The Emerald Buddha Temple (Wat Phra Kaew) where the replica of Angkor Wat and the late Ayutthaya-style murals on the surrounding walls illustrate scenes from the Ramayana are included in the temple s compound. Since Bangkok traffic is very congested, we will ride the Duk Duk on the Road. After enjoying Somboon Lunch at a local restaurant, we will take a Thonburi Klong Tour by boarding a long-tailed boat on the busy Chao Phraya River. The boat takes us through canals of Thonburi (a former capital city of Thailand) where a simple Thai life by the water can be seen. If time permits, we will cross the Chao Phraya River by public boat to visit Wat Arun, known as The Temple of Dawn and one of the most striking riverside landmarks of Thailand. The temple was built during the Ayutthaya period but restored several times during the Rattanakosin period. It is classified as a principal class Royal Temple. Day 17 ** Apr 23 Bangkok Free leisure time to explore the city on your own. Organize a Fun Fun Program. We can go for a Massage Treatment and Get a package for it.
