Event Overview The Resources Skills and Productivity Summit is the only Australian resource sector conference to focus on both skills and productivity issues. The Resources Skills & Productivity Summit is now in its fourth year, having evolved from its inception as a skills based event, to now include topics such as workforce planning, attraction and retention, diversity, innovation and productivity. This years event will deliver a focus on how business can capture value in tough economic times, with each session concentrated on addressing the different elements and detailed discussions. The current tough economic times have shown that business needs to again refocus on how to effectively utilise what they have at hand (in terms of upskilling current staff, trimming the fat from budgets, and reduce spending, in order to survive in the foreseeable future. The 2015 summit will attract key executives and managers from mining and energy companies, with more than 150 delegates expected to attend. We are securing a wide range of world class speakers to deliver thought provoking presentations and lead important topics such as the economic outlook, workforce planning in challenging times, projected growth forecasts and their impact on the Australian economy. A program of speakers is currently being compiled. [3]
