Paperworld Middle East 2012 2 nd edition at a glance The second edition of this new trade fair has grown considerably in size and importance and has further placed ubai and the Middle East at the forefront of international expansion for companies in the stationery and office supplies industry. ubai is the ideal marketplace to open up new markets for Paperworld customers and connect worldwide businesses with the Middle East and frica. ltogether, Paperworld Middle East 2012 welcomed 239 exhibitors from 35 countries, with an 18% increase in product variety, thereby showcasing a valid representation of the global paper products and office supplies industry. This year s event received considerable international participation from 11 dedicated country pavilions, which included exhibitors from Germany, Singapore, Tunisia, Egypt, Sri Lanka, Italy, India, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Taiwan and hina. His Excellency M. K. Lokesh, mbassador of India in the UE, officially inaugurated the Indian pavilion. Further support was received from the ubai hamber of ommerce and Industry (I) with Mr. bdul Rahman Saif l Ghurair, hairman of I, inaugurating the exhibition together with other senior business leaders and government officials. Playworld and Remanexpo Middle East Toys and children s lifestyle on one side and remanufactured printer cartridges on the other comprised two compelling product groups which complemented Paperworld Middle East and gave the visitors further variety and choice.

We ve had customers from all over the Middle East, Nigeria, Kuwait and North frica. Visitor feedback 5,501 visitors from 94 countries attended Paperworld and Playworld Middle East 74% of the visits were mainly related to Paperworld and Remanexpo Middle East. We had many pre-arranged meetings during the event. We received many visitors from Saudi rabia which is our top priority market. We also received a couple of inquiries from many frican countries and will certainly be back next year. This show is really recommended for companies who want to establish themselves in the Middle East region and who are interested in getting local partnership.
