ITINERARY Sunday, November 3, Day 1: DEPART USA Depart on an overnight flight from JFK or Chicago to Budapest (add on air from Houston available. Dinner and breakfast are served on the plane. Monday, November 4, Day 2: ARRIVAL BUDAPEST CRUISE EMBARKATION Upon arrival in Budapest, we are greeted by our English-Speaking Tour Managers, board our buses and are taken on a panoramic tour of Budapest, driving past the City Park, Europe s largest thermal spa and the Budapest Zoo, after which we stop at the Heroes Square (with statues of the most famous Hungarian kings and dukes). Next, we take the Andrássy Avenue to downtown Pest passing by the Opera House and St Stephen s Basilica, where we celebrate Mass. We then embark on the beautiful Amadeus Star cruise ship (built in 2019) which will be our home for the next seven nights. Settle into your comfortable cabins, unpack and join us tonight for a welcome cocktail reception in the lounge area and orientation, followed by a Hungarian Folklore Show and a wonderful dinner accompanied by local wines. Following dinner, we head out on to the deck to enjoy warm mulled wine as the ship takes us on a panoramic Budapest by Night Cruise. Dinner and overnight on the cruise. (Welcome cocktail and dinner on the ship) Tuesday, November 5, Day 3: BUDAPEST: 1000 Years of History SZENTENDRE- ESZTERGOM After breakfast, we head out to explore Budapest, starting at the Chain Bridge, driving over to the Buda side of the city. We stop in the Castle District where during a short walk we see the main attractions of the area. We walk to the Matthias Church and the Fishermen s Bastion (from where we can enjoy the beautiful panorama). Next, we drive to the Gellért Hill (Citadel) and see the most spectacular view of Budapest. During the tour, we hear a brief overview of the last 1000 years of Hungarian history. Board the buses and depart for a drive through the pretty countryside to the artist village of Szentendre, where you have time to enjoy lunch on your own, explore, perhaps do some shopping or enjoy coffee and pastry in one of the many local restaurants. We continue to Esztergom Cathedral to celebrate Mass just as St. John Paul did when he visited the Cathedral. Our ship awaits us in Esztergom, for an 8:00 P.M. departure. Dinner and overnight on the cruise. (B, D) Wednesday, November 6, Day 4: MORNING RETREAT with your friends from Guadalupe Radio Network & Fr. Leo Cooking Demonstration with Fr. Leo BRATISLAVA We arrive in Bratislava, the capital of the Slovak Republic, this morning at 8:00 A.M. Following breakfast, we have a morning retreat with Fr. Leo and the hosts from Guadalupe Radio from 9-11:00 A.M. Before lunch Fr. Leo and the head chef will demonstrate the fine art of apple strudel making, which we enjoy later at dinner. Following lunch, on the ship, we celebrate Mass at St. Martin s Cathedral, the coronation site of Hungarian Kings. We have time to explore the city where we find relaxed pedestrian plazas and stylish street cafes. The ship sails at 11:00 P.M. Overnight on the cruise. (B, Lunch on the ship, D) Thursday, November 7 - Day 5: VIENNA: The Royal Life and Classical Music Concert We wake up in the beautiful city of Vienna. Following breakfast, explore Austria s most vibrant city. Enjoy a panoramic drive through Vienna taking in Vienna s world-famous Opera House, Town Hall, Hapsburg Imperial Palace and more. Walk to St. Stephen s Cathedral which is in the Main Square and see where the Vienna Boys Choir practices and performs. We celebrate Mass at the magnificent Votive Cathedral and have time to explore the city on our own. Be sure you stop by the world-famous hotel Sacher to try Sacher cake, a not to be missed Viennese treat. You may choose to stay in town for lunch on your own, visit one of the many museums or return to the ship for lunch. In the afternoon you may wish to tour Schonbrunn Castle (optional-$44.00-due to the schedule of the excursion, lunch

on the ship is not included. Lunch on your own may be purchased in Vienna). Following an early dinner tonight you may choose to be transferred back to Vienna for a classical music concert. (B, Lunch on the ship, D) Friday, November 8, Day 6: WACHAU VALLEY DURENSTEIN MELK: A day of Wine and Abbeys This morning at 8:00 A.M. we dock in Durenstein a lovely wine village in the magnificent Wachau Valley, a UNESCO World Heritage Site through which we sail passing lush vineyards, fairy tale castles, and ancient monasteries. The perfect little village of Durenstein is in the center of Austria s wine country. You may choose to walk to the town and explore on your own or stay on the ship for a wine seminar just before lunch. Following lunch, on the ship, we disembark in Melk for a visit to the beautifull Melk Benedictine Abbey. Our guided tour includes a tour of the Library, the Abbey and the Church where we celebrate Mass. We depart Melk at 7:00 P.M. Enjoy a relaxing dinner on the ship followed by drinks and music in the lounge. Overnight on the cruise. (B, Lunch on the ship, D) Saturday, November 9 - Day 7: LINZ SALZBURG PASSAU: Sound of Music Enjoy an early breakfast before boarding our private motorcoach which takes us to Salzburg, the city known for the beloved Sound of Music movie and as Mozart s birthplace. Salzburg is enticing with its ornate church towers and grand palaces. Celebrate Mass at the Shrine of Our Lady of Maria Plain. The 17th-century hilltop shrine overlooking Salzburg has a painting of the Virgin Mary that miraculously survived a bakery fire. The shrine became a Minor Basilica in 1952 and was visited by Pope John Paul II in 1983. We have a walking tour of the charming city of music and Mozart. We see the Basilica and stroll along the Getreidegasse to see the house where Mozart was born and take in many familiar sights from the Sound of Music movie. Our exploration of the religious heritage of this town, includes Nonnberg, believed to be the oldest nunnery in existence, founded by St. Rupert in the 8th century, plus the Benedictine Abbey of St. Peter, also founded by St. Rupert. Wear your most comfortable walking shoes as most of the streets are cobblestone- many closed to vehicles - and enjoy views of 17th century churches and quaint houses. We board our ship in Passau and enjoy dinner followed by music in the lounge. Lunch is on your own today. Overnight on the cruise. (B, Lunch on your own, D) Sunday, November 10, Day 8: REGENSBURG: The City of Pope Benedict Afternoon on the ship with your friends from Guadalupe Radio Network After breakfast, we head out to explore this wonderful city. Regensburg is one of Germany s best-preserved medieval cities, famous for sausage making and the place where Pope Benedict grew up, studied and became a priest. We embark on our city tour of Regensburg, highlighting places visited by the Holy Father in his youth. See the Stone Bridge, St. Peter s Cathedral, the University area, the Castle and more. Celebrate Mass at the Regensburg Cathedral. Return to the ship for lunch or choose to stay in the city to enjoy lunch on your own in one of the many local restaurants. An afternoon with your friends from the Guadalupe Radio Network. Tonight, enjoy a Bavarian Evening on the ship, followed by Captain s gala farewell dinner. (B, Lunch on the ship, Captains Gala Dinner) Monday, November 11 Day 9: NUREMBERG- DISEMBARKATION- PRAGUE: Infant Jesus of Prague This morning we enjoy our final breakfast on board the ship. With our bags packed we disembark from our home of eight days. Enjoy a city tour of Nuremberg which takes us through the historic city, famous as the epic enter of the Nazi propaganda campaign. See attractions like Congress Hall, Luitpold Arena, Great Street, and historic old town, as we learn about the birth of the Third Reich empire. Following lunch, on your own, we depart for Prague. Mass is celebrated in Nuremberg. Arrive in Prague and settle into our hotel. Overnight in Prague. Tuesday, November 12, Day 10: PRAGUE Enjoy the day in this unique Bohemian city. We celebrate Mass at Our Lady of Victorious, where we see the Infant Jesus of Prague, followed by a walking tour of the Loreto Sanctuary, a lavish Baroque pilgrimage site, home of the Santa Casa, a replica of Mary s house. Our visit includes the cloister and the treasury. Next stop is the St. Vitus Cathedral and the Basilica of St. George, the oldest church in Prague. In the afternoon you have time to explore Old Town Prague including the Church of St. Nicholas and the Manes Bridge. Lunch is on your own. Tonight, we have a fun and festive farewell dinner in a local beer hall. Overnight in Prague. (B, Special farewell dinner) Wednesday, November 13- Day 11: PRAGUE- USA We have breakfast and head to the airport for our flight home to the USA. (B) OPTIONAL: 3-night extension in KRAKOW, Poland Wednesday, November 13, Day 11: PRAGUE KRAKOW We depart for Krakow this morning, crossing from the Czech Republic into Poland. Upon arrival check into our hotel and enjoy time at leisure in one of the most beautiful cities in Europe. Dinner at leisure. Overnight in Krakow. (B) Thursday, November 14, Day 12: KRAKOW SITES DIVINE MERCY HAVE NO FEAR CENTER Our sightseeing tour of Krakow includes visiting sites in the Medieval Old Town and on the Wawel Hill where we see the Cathedral with the St. Stanislaus Shrine which contains the relics of Poland s patron saint. We see the Pope s room and the famous Pope s Window, honoring St. John Paul II. We travel a short distance to visit the Divine Mercy Shrine, where St. Faustina, the Apostle of Divine Mercy lived and died. We celebrate Mass at Divine Mercy Shrine (TBC) and visit the new center Have No Fear dedicated to St. John Paul II, to venerate his relics. Dinner and overnight in Krakow. (B, D) Friday, November 15, Day 13: CZESTOCHOWA We visit Jasna Gora Monastery to see the miraculous icon of the Black Madonna. We have time to explore the monastery and celebrate Mass. Time for prayer and reflection is scheduled. Return to Krakow for a farewell evening tonight in a local restaurant with a folklore show. Overnight in Krakow. (B, L, Farewell dinner with folklore show) Saturday, November 16, Day 14: DEPART FOR USA After breakfast, we are transferred to the airport for our flight home. (B)

Rules and Regulations Deposits and final payment: A deposit of $1,000.00 per person by check should accompany the registration form along with your optional travel protection payment, if purchasing, and a copy of your passport picture page by May 31, 2019. Final payment is due by August 2, 2019. A late payment fee of $100 will be charged per person for all registrations received after the final payment date.
