In July, New Jersey Governor Chris Christie proposed that the state assume operational control of services in the Atlantic City casino district. Christie appointed a task force in February to chart a future for the state s casino and horse racing industries. The panel recommended the creation of a new state authority, reporting directly to the governor, responsible for the safety and cleanliness in and around the casinos. The move by Governor Christie has law makers and local businesses excited about the future prospects for the gaming industry in Atlantic City and the overall revitalization of the business community in Atlantic City. The new authority will take over marketing the industry from the Atlantic City Convention and Visitors Authority to eliminate and operate the city s convention center and Boardwalk Hall, a 14,800 seat concert hall. Proponents of the proposal believe that more monies will be channeled back into Atlantic City for marketing, city-wide improvements, and to attract further development. Resort Policy: Check-In ~ 4:00 PM Check-Out ~ 11:00 AM What Do I Need at Check-In? All guests must present valid photo identification and a $100 security deposit. Owner s Rate Policy Owner Rate Reservations are discounted nightly room reservations, available for owner s use only, and are not transferable. Owner s rates are available at La Sammana Resort and Flagship Resort. Only those individuals whose name(s) appear on the contract are permitted to check in. Reservations must be made within 30 days of arrival date and are based upon availability. Owner s rates are not available during weeks 25 through 35 at La Sammana Resort. Maintenance fees must be paid in full. 48-hour cancellation policy applies to all reservations. POINTS OWNERS - You must contact RCI to make all reservations, including your Home Resort vacation. Visit RCI.com or call (877) 968-7476 Use Year. Your Use Year begins on the first of the month following your RCI Points enrollment. (Your Use Year does not match the calendar year.) You may reserve your vacation week at FantaSea Resorts, La Sammana, within your season, once your Maintenance fee is paid in full, or you may choose to have us deposit your week with RCI. When using your vacation week at FantaSea Resorts, La Sammana, you are guaranteed a like-kind unit and not necessarily the unit on your deed. You may split your week if you do not wish to vacation for a full week. Weeks are split into two parts. One part is a 3-night weekend (Friday through Sunday); the other is a 4-night midweek (Monday through Thursday). There is a one-time $45 fee when splitting your week, payable upon check-in of the first split. You must use both weekend and midweek portions of your split week during the calendar year. Unused portions cannot be deposited nor can they be carried over to the next year. Unit Occupancy Limits. There are occupancy limits on each unit. Maximum occupancy per Studio is Two (2) people, per One-Bedroom is four (4) people, per Two-Bedroom is six (6) people. Adults and children count equally toward occupancy maximums.
