(Residential- Apartments) Apartment door was pried open. Victim advises that sometime between 5:00pm- 10:15pm someone pried apartment door open to enter the apartment and stole several watches and a jacket. 04/02/2018 1:47am 20000 Evergreen Meadows (Residential- Condo s) Small crack in bottom of door frame. Victim states she heard a loud banging noise coming from her door for approx. 30 seconds. Victim states it sounded like someone was trying to break in and she called 911. Officers did an area check and didn t locate anyone. Officers observed a muddy smeared shoe print on the door. They also observed a small crack in the bottom part of the door frame by the hinges. No other damage observed. No entry was gained into the residence.

Victim states sometime between 03/29/2018 at 8:00am and 04/02/2018 at 3:00pm while staying at her boyfriend s house someone forced entry into her house, ransacked her house, took several items and meticulously damaged several appliances. Victim states she doesn t suspect anyone and doesn t have any enemies. TV s, Jewelry, Clothing, Food from the refrigerator and a Purse are missing from the residence. (Residential- Apartments) Status S - Stolen Manufacturer SUZUKI Color BLK - Black Vehicle Year 2006 Body Style MC - Motorcycle State MI Description Black and Blue Suzuki Motorcycle Victim states sometime between 11:30pm and the following morning at 6:15am someone cut the lock off from victims secured motorcycle and stole the motorcycle. Victim was notified April 4, 2018 that that a Police Agency was chasing a bike like hers on 5 Mile Rd. and Telegraph Rd. No further information at this time. Tips: Never leave your vehicle running unattended Park in areas where your vehicle is viewable if possible Use commercially available security devices

03/30/2018 7:39am 16000 Oxley Rd. (Residential- Apartments) Victims purse was a Black Guess Purse. The purse contained: MI ID, Work ID, Passport & Credit Card. Victim stated she went out to her car around 6:20am and placed her luggage along with her black purse inside her car. Victim was away from her car for 5-7 minutes. When she returned to her car the passenger door was open and she observed her purse missing. Unknown suspect(s) smashed out the rear window to enter the victim s 2018 Dodge Durango. Taken: (1) In-Car Navigation System and miscellaneous personal items. 04/02/2018 9:00am- 11:00am 19000 Eight Mile Rd. (Commercial- Restaurant) 2- Wheels & Tires were taken from victims 2018 GMC Yukon. R/P observed his 2018 Yukon undisturbed at 9:00am. When returning to his vehicle at 11:00am he observed that two of the vehicle s rims and tires had been stolen and the vehicle left to rest on blocks. No suspect info.

04/02/2018 10:30pm- 4:10am 25000 Shiawassee (Residential- Apartments) Custom Speaker System was taken from victims 2007 Dodge Magnum. Victims Gray 2007 Dodge Magnum was attacked and his custom speaker system was taken from the vehicle. The front driver side door handle was pried to gain entry. 03/26/2018 12:00am- 7:00am 27000 Franklin Rd. (Multi- Office Complex) All Four Wheels & Tires were taken from 2017 Ford Mustang. Victim advises sometime between 12:00am- 7:00am All Four Wheels & Tires were stolen off of his 2017 Ford Mustang. The vehicle was left to rest on landscaping blocks. No suspect info. 03/27/2018 11:30pm 03/28/2018 5:30am 27000 Franklin Rd. (Residential- Apartments) All Four Wheels & Tires were taken from 2017 Dodge Durango. Victim advises sometime between 11:30pm and the following morning at 5:30am someone stole All Four Wheels & Tires from 2017 Dodge Durango. 03/28/2018 1:45pm- 3:45pm Inc.# 18/12563 24000 Greenfield Rd. (Multi Office Building just north of Mt. Vernon.) Catalytic Converter was taken from 2005 Buick Rendezvous. The victim stated that the catalytic converter was stolen from her 2005 Buick Rendezvous between 1:45pm- 3:45pm. The vehicle was parked at her Office Building in the 24000 Block of Greenfield Rd.

From: 03/26/2018 12:25am To: 03/26/2018 7:25am 27000 Franklin Rd. (Residential- Apartments) In-Dash Stereo/ Navigation System was taken along with victim s purse with contents. Victim stated sometime between 12:25am and 7:25am someone broke out the right rear window of her 2016 Chrysler 300 and gained access into her vehicle. Suspect(s) stole the In-Dash Stereo/ Navigation System and her purse w/ it's contents. Victim states she put three articles of mail in her mail box and put the flag up to let the mail person know the letters were in there to be mailed. Later the victim was notified by a neighbor that some her mail had been torn up and put into his mail box. Only one of the outgoing letters was recovered. No suspect info. 04/01/2018 10:00am 19000 Nadol Dr. Status S - Stolen Description License Plate was Taken from 2004 Pontiac Grand Am. Victim states he parked his 2004 Pontiac Grand Am in his driveway at 4:00pm. The following morning when he came out to his car at 10:00am he noticed that someone had stolen his license plate.

From: 03/30/2018 4:00pm To: 03/31/2018 12:00pm 28000 Aberdeen St. Catalytic Converter was stolen from 2004 Pontiac Grand Am. Victim states the catalytic converter was stolen off her vehicle sometime between Friday March 30, 2018@ 4:00pm & Saturday March 31,2018@12:00pm. No suspect information. Tips: Ensure your vehicle is locked at all times and valuables are out of sight. Thieves wait for the right time and will move quickly Even if playing sports at a park ensure your vehicle is locked

Armed Robbery: Date/Time Address (block range) Item Taken Details 03/30/2018 2:00pm 22000 Telegraph Rd. (Commercial- Gas Station) Nothing was taken. Attempt Only. Southfield Officers were dispatched to an Attempt Armed Robbery in the 22000 Block of Telegraph Rd. (Gas Station). The victim, gas station clerk, states a b/m 30-34 yrs., 6-0- 6-1 put a hand gun to his side and demanded money. The victim told the suspect he was calling the police. The suspect did not obtain anything and then fled the scene in a Blue or Black Jeep. No further description. Tips: Always be aware of your surroundings and report suspicious incidents or persons to your local police. If something doesn t appear right or someone looks like they are up to no good, call the police immediately

Trust your intuition Unarmed Robbery: 04/02/2018 12:00pm 24000 W Twelve Mile (Commercial- Food & Spirits) Cell Phone was taken. Victim alleges that she got into a verbal argument with a girl (suspect) she knows about a previous relationship she had with a man they both know. At some point during the verbal exchange the suspect pushed victims face with her hand. Victim threw her glass at suspect. Suspect and two of her girlfriends all started hitting her and knocked her to the floor. All three suspects then fled the bar. A patron at the bar told victim that one of the girls took her cell phone. Two of the suspects have been identified and incident is under investigation. Tips: Always be aware of your surroundings and report suspicious incidents or persons to your local police

Be on the Look Out Highlights: Special Attention: Bomb Threat 03/26/2018 26000 Block of Northwestern (Multi- Office Complex) Bomb threat (written) posted on a door at location. Building checked with K-9 Explosive Detecting. Nothing unusual was located. Arrests by SPD Officers: F/A- 1- Arrest 03/30/2018 2:28am 17000 Block of Maryland Southfield Officers were dispatched to the 17000 Block of Maryland on a report of a subject armed with a shotgun threatening to shoot someone. Upon arrival, the officers located the subject with the weapon and he was taken into custody without incident. The officers interviewed the victim at the scene. He stated the suspect pointed a shotgun at him and threatened to shoot him if he didn t call Fox 2 News. A 12-gauge shotgun was recovered at the scene and the suspect was lodged in the Southfield Jail. The victim and the suspect are acquaintances. OWI- 1- Arrest 03/30/2018 10:46pm Evergreen Rd. & Northwestern Officers made a traffic stop on a vehicle for erratic driving. Upon speaking with the driver, it was apparent that he had been consuming intoxicating beverages. An OWI investigation was conducted and the driver was arrested and lodged for OWI.

Date: Tuesday, March 22, 2018 4:40PM Subject: Bank Robbery The Southfield Police Department is requesting the assistance of the public in identifying a suspect responsible for robbing the Bank located in the 27000 Block of Lahser Road in Southfield. The subject entered the bank on March 22, 2018 at approximately 4:40 p.m. and gave a bank teller a note demanding money. The subject is described as an African American male, 20-30 years of age, 5-8 -5-10, medium length wavy hair, wearing a beige zip-up jacket with pockets, dark pants, sunglasses, and a dark bag with an over-the-shoulder strap. The suspect fled the bank on foot after the robbery. No one was injured during the incident. Anyone with information regarding the identity of this subject is asked to contact the Southfield Police Department at 248-796-5500 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-SPEAKUP. Comerica Bank is also offering up to a $2,000 reward for information that leads to an arrest. OWI/ Possession of Firearm while Intoxicated- 1- Arrest 03/30/2018 11:32pm Southfield Rd. & Mt. Vernon Officer was investigating a hit and run accident when another vehicle drove into the vehicle involved in the hit and run crash. The female driver was questioned and it was apparent she had been consuming intoxicating beverages. An OWI investigation was completed and she was arrested and lodged. During the investigation, a handgun was located in the driver s purse. The driver did have a valid CPL. CCW/ DWLS II- 1- Arrest 03/31/2018 10:30pm 25000 Block of Shiawassee Officer stopped a Black Cadillac Escalade that was a look alike in a hit and run crash that just occurred. Upon speaking with the driver, it was discovered that he was in possession of a handgun without a CPL. The driver was also driving with a suspended license. The handgun that was found was reported stolen in a carjacked vehicle that was taken out of Southfield in 2016. The driver was arrested and lodged. Please See 4 Attached Photos Below:

Photo#1 OWI/ Retail Fraud 2- Arrests 04/01/2018 10:38pm 28000 Block of Telegraph Rd. (Commercial- Department Store) Officers were sent to business on a Retail Fraud in progress with a female suspect stealing alcohol. Officer located the suspect vehicle on S/B Telegraph at Northwestern Service Drive. The female suspect from the Retail Fraud was in the vehicle. Further investigation revealed that the male driver had been consuming intoxicating beverages and was investigated for OWI. Upon completion of the investigation the male was arrested and lodged for OWI. The female was arrested for Retail Fraud. OWI- 1- Arrest 04/01/2018 11:41pm 8 Mile Rd. & Evergreen Rd. Officer was sent to location on a vehicle stopped in the roadway blocking traffic. Upon arrival, Officer found a male in driver s seat and the vehicle had fresh damage to it. Upon investigating the male operator, it was apparent he had been consuming intoxicating beverages. The male was arrested for OWI and lodged.

Photo#2 OWI- 1- Arrest 04/01/2018 4:32am Telegraph Rd. & 8 Mile Rd. A citizen called in a possible OWI driver at S/B Telegraph and Civic Center. The citizen said that the vehicle hit a curb and the driver appears to be sleeping. Officer located the suspect vehicle moving at Telegraph and Nine Mile Rd. Officer turned on his emergency lights to stop the vehicle. The driver continued at 35 mph and finally stopped at Eight Mile and Bridge St. The driver was investigated and arrested for OWI.
