GETTING THERE Where is Journey taking place? Hilton Buena Vista Palace, 1900 E Buena Vista Drive, Lake Buena Vista, Florida 32830. This is also the conference hotel. Please make sure you are at the correct hotel, there is another hotel with a similar name! How far is the event from the airport? The Hilton Buena Vista Palace is 15 miles from the Orlando International Airport and 43 miles from the Orlando Sanford International Airport. Where do I park and how much does it cost? Parking is available at an additional cost at The Hilton Buena Vista (24-hour options available). Self-parking: $18 (plus tax overnight) Valet Parking: $24 (overnight $20 Daily) In/Out Privileges available for overnight guests All parking charges are taxable at 6.5% WELCOME RECEPTION What if I cannot attend the Welcome Reception? We ll miss you! But don t worry, this event is optional. You will be able to check-in and get your badge and pre-ordered T-Shirt starting at 7 am on Saturday. When and where is the Welcome Reception? Friday, September 29, 2018 6:30 8:30 PM in the Hilton Buena Vista Palace Pavilion. What is the dress code of the reception? Conference casual is recommended. Spirited dress/wearing orange is encouraged but not required! What are my dining options? Light appetizers, dessert along with a beer and wine bar will be available (2 complimentary drink tickets will be provided per guest). There are four dining options inside the hotel and you will be within walking distance from Disney Springs if you d like to go to dinner after. Can I pick up my badge at the Welcome Reception? Yes. All guests must check-in and pick up their badge at the Sabal Registration desk prior to entering the Pavilion. Can I pick up my t-shirt at the Welcome Reception? 3
Yes. Please visit the t-shirt table. Can I bring a guest? No, all Journey events are for ticket holders only. This event is Sold Out and there will be no tickets at the door. We will not be able to accomodate any additional guests, including children. REGISTRATION & SCHEDULE Where can I check-in? Check-in for all ticket holders will take place in the Sabal Foyer. If you checked-in on Friday evening, please wear and show your badge on Saturday. This event is sold out and we will not be able to accomodate any individuals who do not have a ticket, including children. What does the agenda look like? Registration + Continental Breakfast 7:00-8:00 AM Keynote - 8:30 AM Breakout sessions 10:20 AM Lunch 12:20 PM Breakout sessions + activities 1:50 PM Bus to Coronado Springs 3:40 PM Dinner and evening program with students 4:40-7:30 PM Arrive back at Hilton Buena Vista Palace- 7:45-8:00 PM When does the conference end? Conference ends at 4:00PM at the Hilton and then attendees will be shuttled to the Coronado Springs Hotel for the remainder of the event. The event at the Coronado Springs Hotel ends following dinner at 7:30 PM. You will be shuttled back to the Hilton following dinner. Can I drive myself to dinner at the Coronado Springs? Yes, you are welcome to drive to the Coronado Springs, but VIPKid will not provide parking at the second location. We recommend that you take the complimentary shuttle. How do I find information on the breakouts? You will be preassigned your breakout session based on the survey you filled out and emailed with your schedule. Onsite, please visit the registration desk if you have any questions. The General Session room will be open for lunch seating. 4

There are water stations in each room. VENUE LAYOUT Where are all the different rooms? Keynote Sabal Ballroom Breakout sessions Sabal E, Sabal F, Sabal G, and Pindo Breakfast and lunch Sabal Foyer SPEAKERS I am a speaker, where do I get my badge? All speakers can pick up their badges using the Special Guests line at Registration. Where is the Speaker Ready Room? The Speaker Ready Room is located in the ARECA room. BREAKOUT SESSIONS May I join a session if it has already begun? Yes. Please enter quietly and find a seat in the back as to not disturb the speakers or the other attendees. Do the sessions accommodate ADA seating? Yes. There will be a VIPKID staff member in each room that will be able to assist you. Are the sessions first come first serve? Breakout Sessions are pre assigned based on the ranking you filled out previously and emailed to you. If you are unsure of what your breakout sessions are, please see a staff member or visit the registration desk. We have made every effort to accommodate your top choices. 5
CONFERENCE SERVICES What is the WiFi and Password? PSAV Wireless Internet Instruction: Connect to Network Name Meeting-Space-Internet Launch Your Browser and Populate the Access Code below When the PSAV Splash Page Appears Access Code: VIPKIDJOURNEY Do you have electronic charging stations? Yes. There are several charging stations in the Sabal foyer. Where can I store my bags/luggage? If you are a hotel guest, please utilize the Hilton hotel bell desk. I still need a hotel room, can you help me? Please refer directly to the Hilton website at www.buenavistapalace.com for availability. What is the hotel s check in and out times? Check in at 4:00pm, check out at 11:00am Is video or photography allowed throughout the event? Yes. Please actively engage with the conference on social media channels using #vipkidjourney Where are the restrooms? Restrooms are located in the Sabal Foyer next to Registration. INCIDENTS Where is the lost and found? Please check with Registration for any lost items during the event. All unclaimed lost and found items will be handed over to the Hilton post event. Someone stole something from me, who do I talk to? Report the incident at Registration and we will contact Hilton security. Do you have first aid or medical services on site? The hotel has an emergency response team 24 hours a day. In the event of an emergency, calling the emergency number ext 0 will initiate the appropriate response or find your nearest event staff member to assist you. What do I do in case of an emergency? Immediately contact a staff member onside or Call 911 for any life-threatening emergencies 6
