AUSTRALIAN INNOVATION ZONE An Exclusive Zone for Innovative Australian companies The Australian and Western Australian Governments and Diversified Exhibitions Australia are introducing the Australian Innovation Zone at AOG 2014 in Perth. This dedicated space on the main exhibition floor will showcase 24 innovative Australian suppliers to the oil and gas sector. AOG takes place annually in Perth and is Australia s Premier event for the oil and gas industry. In 2013 AOG featured 507 exhibitors and 15,000 attendees. The AOG & Subsea Australasia Conference combined featured 130 speakers and 655 delegates. AOG is the ideal platform to showcase your innovation to an audience of oil & gas industry professionals including operators, EPCM s, contractors and the service and supply industry. BENEFITS OF JOINING THE AUSTRALIAN INNOVATION ZONE Participants in the Zone will benefit from being part of a larger group of leading Australian oil & gas innovators. CONCEPT The Australian Innovation Zone is a group stand in a prime location in Pavilion 6. It is located next to the WA Government s Australian Marine Complex stand and AOG s premium networking area the Matrix Oyster Bar. The Zone will include: n Distinctive and eye catching stand design with bold overhead signage n An information desk staffed by government agencies n Zone directory & floor plan n 24 multimedia display pods n Discussion areas n Lounge area

GUIDELINES FOR APPLICATIONS FOR EXHIBITION SPACE These guidelines will help ensure that this limited exhibition space is allocated to small to medium enterprises that best represent Australian innovation capability in oil & gas. Decisions on allocation of the exhibition space will be made by an assessment panel comprising the Australian and Western Australian Governments and Diversified Exhibitions Australia on the basis of the selection criteria. SELECTION CRITERIA 1. Australian business entity Applicants for exhibition space should be Australian business entities possessing an ABN and ACN with majority Australian ownership and control and headquartered in Australia. 2. Small to medium enterprise Applications are encouraged from small to medium enterprises with up to 200 full time staff equivalents and group annual turnover between $2 million to $250 million. 3. Innovation Applicant s products and/or services must be innovative and proven, and provide a new or significantly improved solution to the needs of the global oil and gas sector. APPLICATIONS Applications should be emailed to Diversified Exhibitions aog@divexhibitions.com.au or sent by fax to 03 9261 4545 by the closing date of 1 October 2013. The assessment panel will use the applicant responses to rank and shortlist applicants to be offered exhibition space. Shortlisted applicants will be required to enter into an AOG Exhibitor s Contract and pay a deposit before 20 November 2013 in order to secure their exhibition space. 4. Originator Applicant should be the originator or substantial developer of the product or service, and not a distributor or agent for another company s products or services. 5. Market ready Applicant and its products and/or services should be ready for market and able to accept domestic and export orders. 6. Financial contribution Applicants will be expected to contribute financially towards the cost of their stand, have trained knowledgeable staff in attendance for the duration of AOG and meet the required standard for marketing material and collateral.
