Jerry & Lois Cowan CA 1M Chapter Directors Yesterday was the Officers Conference in Bakersfield. Lots of familiar faces, some are just looking a little older, as we all are. What I got from the meeting was let's do less talking at meetings and more riding. Plus have other events for those that do not ride anymore, but still want to be involved in the chapter and participate. California will not have a District rally in 2018, but will have one in 2019 over Labor Day. There are 13 California Chapter Rallies, Wing Ding, a ride to Rally at Zermatt in Midway Utah. District Rally in Arizona that some of us go to plus 40 to Phoenix. We learned about the new Chapter Games that we will explain at the next meeting. Chapter F is trying something different, they are offering a choice of going on a ride or a Harbor Cruise for an hour for 12.00 per person. Sounds like fun. Chapter C is only charging $5.00 for registration and still offering a spaghetti dinner plus John has several rides planned. We had a Silent Bake Sale Auction in December for the Ronald McDonald House. We chose to buy the House a portable tower air conditioner for their East Basement that did not get air conditioning vents. The volunteers will be very grateful for our donation. We decided not to have a Milk Run this year. If you have somewhere you would like to go, plan it or get all the information and we will try to find someone to lead it. Come Join Us For The Ride Jerry and Lois Cowan Chapter Directors 4
