Final Circular of the Reimei Workshop "Hadronic Resonances and Dense Nuclear Matter" and the J-PARC-HI Collaboration Meeting (Dec.14) Date: December 11 (Mon.), 12 (Tue.), 13 (Wed.), (14 (Thu.) J-PARC-HI) Venue: Ibaraki Quantum Beam Research Center (IQBRC) This is the final circular for the Reimei workshop on Dec. 11-13 and the J-PARC-HI collaboration meeting (Dec.14). Here we list up some important information on the conference site, access, program and registration. Please check the attached files also for the assignments of the accommodation and the program. [Venue and facility] The workshop venue is Ibaraki Quantum Beam Research Center (IQBRC), Tokai, Ibaraki, Japan, just by the Tokai campus of JAEA and J-PARC. The oral presentation will be held in the conference room on the 2 nd floor and the poster session at the lobby on the same floor (by the shop). We prepare table-taps for power supply of PCs for all the participants, a laser pointer, and a microphone for the oral presenter. We will collect the presentation file after your talk. We will not prepare a PC or a printer for the participants use. [On-site registration] The registration desk will be open at the entrance of conference hall on the 2 nd floor of IQBRC from 9:30, Dec 11, where you will get printed materials and your name plate. The registration fee is 4000 JPY by which we manage to pay for coffee breaks and a reception party. There is a discount of 2000 JPY for who comes on Dec 12 and later. The registration fee for students is 1000 JPY independent on the dates. The fee for the banquet 5000 JPY and lunch boxes 700 JPY/meal is charged separately. All the fees should be paid in JPY cash at the registration.
[Poster display] For posters we prepare 20 both-side panels of A0 size. The poster presenters are required to put on their posters on any panel with pins before the poster session. We will remove and discard them at the lunch break on Dec 13. [Program] The Program file is attached. Please check the schedule of your talk and the talk title. If you need any changes, please inform us. [Accommodation list] Please check your hotel / dormitory listed in the attached PDF file. If your arrival and departure schedules are incorrect, please let us know as soon as possible. LOC reimei-hadron-j@ml.jaea.go.jp NOTICE: For participants from overseas (NOT necessarily foreign people), JAEA will pay the accommodation fee directly on invoice. Please do not pay by yourself. For participants from Japan (including non-japanese residents), please pay the accommodation fee by yourself and give the receipt to us (or send after the workshop) in order to make the local support. The followings are information on the way to the hotel / dormitory and to the conference venue. Please notice that buses from Tokai to workshop venue/ dormitory are not frequently going. Take bus from Tokai St. (9:06 AM) to the bus stop nearest to the workshop venue (Masaki-higashi, 220 yen). -- After the reception (evening), we will arrange a ride to Tokai St. Dec. 12 (Tue) 0. We will start the session on this day 30 min. earlier than the day before. 1. Take train from Katsuta St. (8:25 AM) to Tokai St. (8:33 AM) (200 yen). 2. Take taxi from Tokai St. to the workshop venue (~ 1,200 yen/car). -- After the banquet (evening), we will arrange a ride to Tokai St. Dec. 13 (Wed) 1. Take train from Katsuta St. (8:46 AM) to Tokai St. (8:53 AM) (200 yen). 2. Take bus from Tokai St. (9:06 AM) to the bus stop nearest to the workshop venue (Masaki-higashi, 220 yen). II. For participants staying at the Tokai dormitory Tokai dormitory is near the conference venue. To reach the Tokai dormitory: 1. Take train up to Tokai St. 2. Take bus from Tokai St. (9:06 AM) to the bus stop nearest to the workshop venue (Masaki-higashi, 220 yen). 3. Or, take taxi from Tokai St. to the workshop venue (~ 1,200 yen/car). III. For participants staying at Masago International dormitory The Masago International dormitory is ~ 10 min. from the conference venue. To reach the Masago International dormitory: 1. Take train up to Tokai St. 2. Take bus from Tokai St. (9:06 AM) to the bus stop nearest to the Masago International dormitory (Kokuzosoniriguchi, 260 yen). 3. Or, take taxi from Tokai St. to the Masago International dormitory (~ 1,500 yen/car).
[Access information for Foreign Participants] From Narita Airport to Tokai, take Rose Liner limousine bus which stops at the train stations. Katsuta Station West Exit is the closest stop to Terrace Inn Katsuta (located across the railway, where one can get to by going through the station). In the morning, there is no limousine bus to Tokai. So get to Shinagawa, Tokyo, or Ueno train station and take Joban line express Hitachi or Tokiwa to Katsuta station, then local train to Tokai. (some Tokiwa stop at Tokai.)
