DAY 1: USA / SPAIN (Friday) Fly through the night to Málaga, located in la Costa del Sol. DAY 2: MÁLAGA (Saturday) Welcome to Spain! A Forum Representative will meet you at the airport and will help you transfer to Malaca Instituto. On arrival meet your host family. Dinner and night accommodation with your host family. MALACA INSTITUTO IMMERSION PROGRAM Málaga is a beautiful seaside city, capital of the famous Costa de Sol. Malaca Instituto has been dedicated to the teaching of Spanish for over 40 years. It is a 15-minute bus ride from the city centre, and a 10-minute walk to the beach. The school and its residents create a mini-campus with outstanding leisure and learning facilities. Classes are held Monday through Friday - 3 classes per day, 50 minutes each. Students are placed two per home sharing a twin room and they will have breakfast and one other main meal per day with their host family (lunch or dinner). DAY 3: RONDA (Sunday) This morning, meet your Forum Tour Manager and board your private motor coach to Ronda. Upon arrival, enjoy a guided tour of Ronda. See the famous gorge El Tajo the cliff, spanned by a stone bridge, which once housed a prison. Tour the bullring, founded in 1785; it is one of the oldest in Spain. Enjoy lunch with your group in a local restaurant. While having lunch, you will see some artist in action performing on a Flamenco show! Then, enjoy some free time to discover Ronda at your own pace. Later in the afternoon, return to your host families for dinner and night accommodation. DAY 8: CÓRDOBA (Friday) This morning, meet your Forum Tour Manager at the school and board your private motor coach to Córdoba. The former capital of the three cultures, Córdoba is one of the greatest centers of art, culture and learning in the Western world during the Middle Ages. Enjoy a guided tour of the fabulous Mezquita, an 8th century Mosque, one of the most beautiful examples of Spanish Muslim art. After some free time for lunch, discover the Jewish Quarter and the Synagogue. Return to Málaga later in the afternoon. Dinner and night accommodation with host families. DAY 9: SEVILLA (Saturday) Breakfast with your host family. Today, meet your Forum Tour manager and board your bus to Sevilla. On arrival, meet your local guide and enjoy a guided tour of Sevilla. Enter the cathedral and climb to the top of the Giralda Tower. Visit the Alcázar. This fascinating palace was the primary residence for 1st centuries worth of monarchs due to its architectural beauty. Have some free time for lunch and to discover Sevilla with your group. Return to Málaga later in the afternoon. Dinner and night accommodation with host families. DAY 10: DEPART (Sunday) After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your flight back home.
