PRESIDENTS MESSAGE: It s great to be back! I am honored to serve, again, as the President of the Lewis Ski Club. Yes, many of the names have changed since I ve hung around, but the dreams (of skiing) have remained. There seem to be many additional changes to the club due, mostly, to changes in technology. Looking forward to a positive year of skiing and socializing! See you Tuesday! Prez for the Prez. VP ALPINE: LOOKING FOR A FEW GOOD PEOPLE: As the summer winds down, I feel the pull of the winter reminding me of all that needs to be done to give our members snow experiences unlike the other ski clubs and there are many clubs to chose from. Starting with the basics, I am searching for another bus company. Whereas last year's search found most companies close in price, I just want to be sure that we can't do better, lowering the cost of a trip for our members. The day trip schedules have been set and are now on line. I am still waiting for you to contact me and volunteer to run one of the trips in need of a leader. I am completing the budgets for the day trips, I will tell you how much money you have for snacks on the bus and driver tip. Everything is on line so you have no responsibility in collecting monies. It is a great way to get to know other members. Email ALPINEVP The board is also looking ahead to 2019 and extended week long trips. Where do you want to go? Are you going to run that trip? Join the Trip Committee! Meetings follow the general meeting quarterly
