You will have an early breakfast and drive to Murchison Falls National Park via the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary where you will have the opportunity to trek the Rhinos. The sanctuary houses Uganda s Rhino reintroduction project. There are 9 white rhinos and tracking is done on foot for 1 and half hours. You will continue to Masindi Town for lunch and later drive to Murchison Falls National Park. The entire journey takes 6-7 hours. You will have dinner and overnight at the lodge of your booking. Expect to encounter animals like Giraffes, Lions, Elephants, baboons, and a number of different antelopes. Return to the lodge for lunch and in the afternoon set
out for the launch cruise on the Albert Nile to the Bottom of the falls. Expect to see animals like Hippos, crocodiles, Water bucks, and a wide variety of bird species. You will also reach the Devils Cauldron where you will be able to see clearly the majestic Murchison falls. Return for dinner and overnight at your lodge booked. water banks are swarmed with a profusion of water and land animals as well as birds. Later, you will travel to Kibale Forest national park. The journey will take almost 7-8 hours drive. This journey will take you through the verdant country side of the Albertine Escarpment. Also you will pass by Hoima homesteads for a clear view of the true African culture. Lunch will be held en route in Hoima town. Proceed with the journey to Fort portal and later reach Kibale in the evening. Day 4: Kibale Forest National park; Chimpanzee trekking/primate walk along the forest.
After breakfast, go for chimpanzee trekking/primate walk. Taking packed lunch. The activity takes up most part of the whole day. A variety of primates such as the greycheeked mangabeys, colobus monkeys, L Hoest monkeys, and red-tailed monkeys can be seen. While exploring several kilometers of the forest, you may see colourful butterflies, frogs, reptiles and insects as well, as the forest is also endemic bird species including the african grey parrot; african and green breasted pittas. Proceed to Bigodi swamp for a guided nature walk and birdwatcing. Day 5: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
You will have an early breakfast and set off for Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park in Southwestern Uganda near the border with Rwanda. You will go along with packed lunch.this is a long journey of 9-10 hours but on a paved road passing through areas richly endowed with beautiful geographical features along the way. You will travel along the Albertine rift through the towns of FortPortal and Kasese with stopovers in areas with tourist attractions along the route. Day 6: Mountain Gorilla Tracking and Trekking 7am; you will attend a compulsory briefing at park headquarters by the game rangers. Taking with you packed lunch and water. Expect to know about the history of the park, dos and don ts of gorilla trackers. Afterwards, you will join be divided into separate groups to track through the forest searching for the rare apes. The activity will take up most part of the day. Return to Gorilla Forest Camp or Buhoma Lodge for resting, dinner and overnight.
