Our Journey to success continues. The terms of our corporate governance, the board this year agreed its Corporate Strategy & Business Plan for the period 2018 to 2022 within which we project a further 50% growth. We plan to build over the next 3-4 years up to 1290 new homes within North Ayrshire, East Ayrshire and Dumfries and Galloway. We are now a regional housing association. In March 2018 the Association opened a new office in Nith Place, Dumfries which the Associations Lemon Aid Fuel Poverty Energy Advisors Service offer a range of award winning services to residents in Dumfries & Galloway. of the development and properties will be provided with both front and rear gardens as well as incurtilage parking. Cunninghame Housing Association first became involved in Longpark in 1999 following a transfer of undertakings from the Longpark Ownership Co- Operative, Kilmarnock. The delivery of this final phase of new build development will complete the overall regeneration of the Longpark Estate and the significant investment made to date by the strategic partners, East Ayrshire Council, the Scottish Government and Cunninghame Housing Association. The project commenced on site on 3 September 2018 with site completion expected around October 2019. The agreed contract period is 57 weeks. The delivery of this final phase of new build development will complete the overall regeneration of the Longpark Estate and the significant investment made to date by our strategic partners, East Ayrshire Council and the Scottish Government. Longpark, Kilmarnock Regeneration Funding The total works costs of 6.2m are funded by 3.7m in Scottish Government HAG funding and 2.5 m in private finance. Construction on a new affordable housing development located in the Longpark area of Kilmarnock is now underway. The homes will be built upon a vacant brownfield site by Glasgow-based contractor CCG (Scotland) Ltd on behalf of Cunninghame Housing Association comprising a mix of two and three-bedroom cottage flats and three-and fourbedroom houses. Of the 48 units, four plots will be fully wheelchair accessible whilst 14 plots, including 12 three-bedroom houses, will be specially designed to suit the ambulant disabled or elderly Community garden space will be provided as a central feature

New Affordable Rented Housing in Dumfries and Galloway Cunninghame Housing Association acquired the former Carrs Billington site in March 2017. The site is being delivered by the Strategic Partnership comprising the Scottish Government with Dumfries and Galloway Council and Cunninghame Housing Association. This regeneration of the former Carrs Billington site will bring a brownfield site within the town centre of Annan back into use and will enhance the setting of the conservation area. The Partnership view this site as a key town centre regeneration opportunity as identified in the Annan Regeneration Masterplan and the development will bring dilapidated buildings within the conservation area back into use and also provide much needed new build housing. The site is supported by Dumfries and Galloway Council s Strategic Housing Investment Plan and will introduce affordable rented housing into the town centre. On Wednesday the 8 th August 2018 Kevin Stewart MSP Minister for Local Government and Housing visited the CHA Site at the High Street in Annan to officially mark the commencement of the redevelopment of the former Carr s Billington Site. The redevelopment of the site once complete (in October 2019) will begin the journey to provide much needed new housing within Annan. Kevin Stewart MSP Minister for Local Government and Housing This 3.7m project will deliver a total of 27 new homes, a mixture of 2 and 3 bedroom houses and flats. Twenty two of the 27 new homes will be new build accommodation and the remaining five units will be delivered as part of the refurbishment of the existing building. Four of the properties have been designed to meet the specific needs of wheelchair users and the location will provide these tenants with easy access to local amenities and allow them to sustain their tenancies. Some of these units are of a design which is not available for affordable rent elsewhere in Annan and their introduction to the project will bring a level of bespoke wheelchair housing which is currently unavailable. Hill Street, Kilmarnock - Regeneration The site was previously owned by East Ayrshire Council and the Association acquired the site from the Council on 9 September 2016. The Association was also responsible for the demolition of the former East Ayrshire Council properties and these demolition works were carried out between the months of May-July 2016. Housing Mix The site has delivered a total of 45 new houses and flats for rent. There is a mixture of 2 & 3 bedroom general needs houses, amenity cottage flats for older and less mobile people as well as 2 houses designed specifically for those with wheelchair needs. Current Position Councillor Douglas Reid, Leader of East Ayrshire Council New build construction works on the site at Hill Street, Kilmarnock commenced on 12 September 2016 with our main contractor Ashleigh (Scotland) Ltd. Overall completion was achieved on 13 February 2018 when the final properties were handed back to the Association. The official closing ceremony for this significant Kilmarnock Regeneration Project demonstrates the quality work of the Strategic Partnership comprising the Scottish Government, East Ayrshire Council and Cunninghame Housing Association and the main contractor Ashleigh (Scot). To mark the occasion Cunninghame Housing have erected a brick cairn on the site. The Official Closing Ceremony was carried out by the Leader of East Ayrshire Council Douglas Reid.
