WAITOC VISION Help create a vibrant authentic Aboriginal tourism industry as an integral component of Western Australia s tourism industry.

WAITOC MISSION Educate, mentor and facilitate partnerships to increase the size and quality of the Aboriginal Tourism industry in Western Australia.

Current Perception The current perception amongst consumers and the tourist trade is that Aboriginal Tourism experiences only happen in the Outback.

Corporate Engagement To help grow the Aboriginal Tourism industry, WAITOC is starting a process of engagement to increase the level of Corporate and Private sector involvement, participation and partnership with WAITOC, its operators and with the Aboriginal Tourism sector in Western Australia in general.

Help achieve accreditation Help a specific WAITOC member to achieve Tourism Council Accreditation or Eco-Tourism Accreditation as a key step to growing the business and the industry.

Help become Export Ready Assist a specific WAITOC member to improve their internal and external processes to achieve Export Ready classification. The Australian Tourism Export Council (ATEC) provides support to WAITOC members who are Export Ready.

Schools Program Work with WAITOC to help encourage more schools to experience Aboriginal Tourism experiences as part of their education.
