Member Mustang - KW Our Member Mustang is actually two-forone! Carol and Harold Ayers own two Mustangs a beautiful blue 1995 GT Coupe and a Pearl-white 1998 Convertible. Both Mustangs are multiple show winners. Their 95 GT Coupe is supercharged, with a stroker motor and side pipes. It definitely turns heads at shows! Their 98 Convertible had recent work done, and is now a show-stopping winner. Carol and Harold will need some new shelves for all those trophies! They are well-deserved, as they maintain their cars with loving care. Harold & Carol were married two years ago, and have five children and six grandchildren. They are also parents to seven furbabies (all rescues), a parrot and a 20-year old parakeet! They are devoted parents and grandparents, as evidenced by all of the family photos posted on Carol s FB page. If money were no object, they would buy an old Cobra. They ve been members of SJMC for three years and can be found together at most shows and events attended by SJMC members. They re an adorable, fun-loving, unassuming couple! SJMC 38 th Annual Mustang & Ford Fall Car Show Holman Lincoln-Ford Maple Shade - KW The day broke sunny and warm while Club members gathered to prepare for the biggest event of the year. Gail Lokaj directs this event, and does an amazing job! This year s Basket Auction was off the hook, with donations from many of our members. Thank you for your generosity in donating and purchasing tickets. With the Basket Auction, registration fees and the sales of all those hot dogs and hamburgers, our donation to Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation was a generous one this year. Thank you to all the members who helped directing traffic, cooking burgers, selling tickets, and judging the show. Events like this are only successful with help from many. With cars from the 1940 s through brand spanking new 2018 s there was something for everyone to admire. Competition was tough in some of the classes, and judging wasn t easy. We all enjoyed the beautiful Ford vehicles that are obviously cherished by their owners.

SJMC Out & About KW Club members attended numerous events this fall. From the Camden waterfront to Delaware, SJMC was representing! Check out the photos below and maybe spy you or your ride! We are looking for suggestions on how to increase participation by the ladies in our club! One member suggested a section of the newsletter dedicated to recipes of Lady Club members. If you have a favorite recipe that you would like to share, please submit to the Editor at kesajen@gmail.com. Facebook is a great place to connect with other Lady- Driven Mustang owners. One page is Mustang Sisters - their members are welcoming, helpful and fun to follow. We had a gift exchange at Christmas, they wish members Happy Birthday, have banner contests and more! Follow them today. They even have merch geared toward us ladies! Any other suggestions for groups to follow on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc. are welcome! Club Calendar An annual tradition continued with the distribution of the SJMC Club Calendar. It features 12 members cars, with the Group Photo on the cover. If you haven t received your 2019 Club Calendar, please see any Officer at the next meeting.

Club members gathered at Centerton Country Club for our Annual Club Holiday Party, where dancing, drinks and good food were on the menu! Thanks to Nancy Nordberg for her hard work in planning this event! Dave just took a seat.

Miscellaneous Good Stuff Raise your hand if this is YOU!!! Check out this ad from 1970! If only we could go back in time, I d buy that Mustang, not the VW Fastback!
