Greetings from Sabine Creek Ranch! My name is Eddie Walker, and my wife Sarah and I, along with our children, Cate, Caroline, and Cole, enjoy welcoming groups to this special place throughout the year. We believe there is something significant that happens when we get away from our busy lives for a time to reflect and be renewed. At Sabine Creek, we ve committed ourselves to serving others and providing a great place for our guests to grow in every area of their lives. To that end, we provide delicious food, clean facilities, exciting recreation options, and best of all, a quiet and beautiful location where the sunrises and sunsets are just incredible. And all this just 30 minutes east of downtown Dallas! Along with a special location, we have a wonderful team dedicated to making your stay here memorable. Whether you are going all out at camp, relaxing at a retreat, or celebrating a special event, our desire is to provide you with service and programs that are second to none. Sabine Creek Ranch isn t just our home. It s a place we ve dedicated to the Lord to encourage people in every area of their lives. We hope that while you re here, you ll build lasting memories, strong friendships, and a growing faith. We look forward to seeing you soon! Eddie Walker, Founder

Sending in Your Numbers Our meal planning and staff scheduling is contingent upon your total number attending. Therefore, we ask you to provide a final count of attendees at least 5 days prior to your group s arrival. The SCR office will be available for you to call, fax, or email you numbers by 5:00 pm on the deadline date at 888-382-9877 (phone & fax), or info@sabinecreek.com. Setup & Planning As you plan your event, feel free to set an appointment to come to the Ranch to receive a tour, discuss and brainstorm, or just make a final run-through of your schedule. Once you have confirmed your schedule, please send us a copy so that we will be best-equipped to help meet your needs and make your stay more enjoyable. This will also help us work through any questions or concerns that you may have. Check-In Upon arriving at Sabine Creek Ranch, please get in touch with your Sabine Creek contact. They will instruct you regarding lodging assignments, direct you to any needed supplies/arrangements and receive payment for your stay. Please bring your final payment with you to the Ranch. Remember to subtract your deposit. Any incidentals or damages will be invoiced and should be remitted within 10 days of your event. Questions about amount due can be directed to Sarah at sarah@sabinecreek.com. Transportation & Parking After unloading, please park all vehicles in the parking lot beside the Worship Center. So that we can provide a nice environment, please do not park on grass, in driveways, or in front of cabins. Use of automobiles for transportation around Sabine Creek Ranch grounds is not allowed unless approved by a camp representative. Closed Camp Policy In order to ensure maximum safety for our guests, SCR is a closed campus facility. We do not allow unauthorized visitors to come onto campus, and we ask that groups work with us in communicating this information. Arrangements can be made for special/emergency visits through your Sabine Creek contact. Supervision/Discipline Your group leaders are responsible for overall discipline during your stay, and you should remain with minors at all times. These leaders are responsible for the enforcement of all SCR rules. Be advised that there is a no pranks policy at SCR. Please go over all SCR rules with your group prior to arrival. Outside quiet hours begin at 11:00 pm when the outside lights are scheduled to turn off. Please respect other groups activities. Damages Your group/organization will be held financially responsible for damage or unauthorized removal of property or equipment that takes place during your stay at the Ranch. Check Out Before you leave, please sweep floors, put all trash in bags (tie and place by front door), turn off heat/ac, turn off lights, and close doors. Cleaning supplies are in the hot water closet. After cleaning your dorms, please talk to your SCR contact for any key returns, cleaning assistance, or additional questions or help.

1. What are meal times? Unless other arrangements have been made, breakfast is served at 8 am, lunch is served at 12 pm, and dinner is served at 6pm. For special food needs, please contact the SCR office. 2. Is ice available for our group? Yes! Ice can be purchased for $2.00 per bag. 3. Where will our group be meeting? Meeting space is included in your lodging price. Because group sizes often vary from estimates, final assignments for your meeting space will not be made until the week of the event, after your final numbers have been turned in. The Worship Center is only for groups of 100 or more, unless it is reserved for an additional $300.00 fee. 4. Can I bring my dog? For their own safety, and the safety of our livestock, no pets are allowed on the Ranch. 5. How do we get recreation equipment? Balls and equipment will be located at the activity site. 6. Can we decorate our meeting room? Yes, with a few guidelines. TAPE ON WALLS, FLOORS, OR DOORS IS PROHIBITED! It often takes off paint or stain or leaves a hard-to-remove residue, which can lead to significant damage or cleaning charges. Likewise confetti, streamers, or any other decoration must be attached and completely removed in a way that won t leave any marks for the group that comes in after you. Please bring all supplies, tools, and equipment with you. 7. Any recommendations for group program or activities? While we offer many recreation options, we encourage you to use your time at Sabine Creek Ranch to focus on the relationships between your group members and on spiritual reflection and renewal. To that end, we discourage guests from bringing electronics and other items that distract from that goal. Simple is usually better! Our staff is happy to offer programming suggestions. 8. What it we have an emergency while at camp? You may call our staffer on call at 888-382-9877. Please only use this number in an actual emergency after 9:00 pm. If you have a medical emergency, you may call 911, then call our camp staff. Directions to Presbyterian Hospital in Rockwall: Turn right on Hwy 276 and continue until it dead ends into Hwy 205. Turn left on Hwy 205 and go to the first stoplight. This is Ralph Hall Parkway. Turn right on Ralph Hall and follow it 1.7 miles to Horizon Road. Turn left and you will see Presbyterian Hospital immediately on your right. Sample What to Bring List: Comfortable, casual clothing (Modest & non-distracting apparel is expected at all times, including swimsuits, shorts, shirt logos, etc. Again, please respect other guests needs while at the Ranch.) Bedding for a twin-sized bed or sleeping bag, pillow Insect repellant, sunscreen, etc. (depending on activities) Please do not bring: Fireworks Guns (real, squirt, or paintball) or weapons of any kind You may choose to discourage: Cell phones Bible, notebook, & pen Flashlight with batteries Towels, washcloths, toiletries (shampoo, deodorant, etc.) Travel alarm clock Camera Rain gear Bathing suit (if needed) Spending money (for canteen & gift shop purposes, both available upon request) Drugs or alcohol Shaving cream or silly string Laptop computers, ipads, or any device with Internet capability
