Page 4 Safety Officer John Gudin Now that riding season is in full swing and it is getting warmer you need to watch out for tar snakes. You know the tar they fill cracks in the road with. As it gets warmer the tar gets soft. And as you make a turn your tire can slid out so look out for tar snakes. I you are going on a ride out of state make sure you know that states helmet law. Ride Safe and I will see you on the road. John Gudin Safety Officer Ladies of Harley Mary Ann Carroll Well we had our "Ladies Weekender" and a great time was has by all. It was big fun right down the line from "Elvis", the photo booth, door prizes, raffle baskets, great food and fun decorations. Thanks to everyone who worked so hard to make this a memorable time. The weather didn't hold out yet again, but that does not keep us down, we traveled in our cages and carried on. The month of May was ladies rider month and we had our mileage contest. The winners are Mary Eustice 1st place, Kathy Kelly 2nd place and Paul Jackson 3rd place. Congratulations girls job well done. It seems that the weather (other than our weekender) is starting to cooperate so lets get out and enjoy, Kyle our fearless Road Captain has many great rides planned for this summer so check them out and get rolling. The Ohio Hog Rally is at the end of June and I know a lot of people from our HOG group are going. Looking forward to seeing you all there and getting together. Until then, Ride on and be safe, Mary Ann Carroll
