Too much sodium increases your risk of high blood pressure and other heart problems. Use these tips to help lower the sodium in your diet. Know your sodium limit. Healthy adults need to limit their sodium intake to no more 2,300 mg a day (about 1 teaspoon of salt). Some people, including children and those with high blood pressure, need to keep their sodium intake even lower (no more than 1,500 mg a day). Ask your doctor how much sodium is okay for you. You don t have to make all of these changes at once. Slowly reduce the amount of sodium in your foods, and your taste for salt will change with time. Is It Good Enough? Dennis Pino: I chatted with Mrs. Susan Rogoni, 2701 Foothills Rd., about two members of our team - Carol Munoz and Santos Leal. Mrs. Rogoni is highly complimentary of these two gentlemen - and using her words: amazing as they go above and beyond; they make the Sanitation Dept. look good; has never experienced this type of service from a sanitation unit anywhere; they are amazing and cheerful; they get out the vehicle to help out; Cheyenne s sanitation unit is the very best. I must add that she called these gentlemen by first name - Carl and Little Hawk - now that is pretty amazing. - Mayor Rick Kaysen Network Classifieds FOR SALE: 2000 Pontiac Montana minivan, 60,200 miles, seats 7, new tires, 3.4 liter V6, front wheel drive, $4,700 638-3849 FOR SALE: 1976 Ford pickup with cab over camper, F-250, supercab, 2WD, 4-spd, 390 V8, power steering and brakes, 46,300 miles, 8 box, new windshield, extra wheels and tires, camper has 3-way refrigerator, 3 burner stove with oven, Coleman heater, $3,400 638-3849
