Geelong Bonsai Club Newsletter Presidents Report September 2015 Even though we aren't officially in Spring, some of our trees are tricking us reminding us Spring is knocking on our door! Our visit from Tony Bebb was well received during the workshops and especially at the Monday evening meeting. It was very informative with Tony covering many topics in bonsai theory and practice. The show is now fast approaching and so its time to seriously consider which trees you intend displaying during the show. Chat to Jeff to lock in which trees you would like to have included. Tony working on a club members Juniper The next workshop is with Joe Morgan-Payler on Saturday the 19th of September with a 9:30 morning start and a 1:30 pm in the afternoon. Sessions are $25 each and run for 3 hours. Contact Paul to book in A.S.A.P. A Chinese elm from our last show As usual, many hands make light work and please consider how you can assist. We have flyers for distribution and again let me know if you want some to distribute. Joe will be doing workshops on the 19th September An old cedar from our last show
