The Culture For All Regional Conference on the role of culture in developing societies workshops and concrete examples National Library of Kosovo Pristina, September 21 22, 2016 Gathering both regional and international voices, the Strengthen ing Culture Conference will focus on cultural policies and culture as elements for sustainable development in Kosovo and the Balkan region. The event is organized in the framework of the Culture for all phase III project, managed by the European Union Office in Kosovo and implemented by Interarts, Culture Action Europe and ARCS-Arci Cultura e Sviluppo. The aim of the conference is to enable a collective reflection on the design and implementation of strategic approaches that stimulate and foster a cultural system, fundamental for the development of sustainable societies. This conference will connect cultural policy makers and operators from Kosovo others from the Balkan region and from abroad. It will be an opportunity to share stories and practices, as well as to actively reflect on the current challenges for and the potential strengthening of culture in Balkan societies. The Strengthen ing Culture Conference is designed around a rhythm that allows speakers and participants to learn something new about what is discussed: theory is followed by practice; theory is made of examples.
