GO OUT, BE IN IV I N V O L V I N G C U L T U R A L D I V E R S I T Y I N O U T S I D E A C T I V I T I E S Erasmus+ youth exchange From 17 th to 24 th July 207 in Växjö, Sweden

Hello dear GOBIer! We in Globala Kronoberg are looking forward to meet you in July. In the meanwhile, we send you some information about the exchange and list a couple of things that you need to prepare before you arrive to Sweden. Please note that this info-pack has complementary information of the first info-pack we ve sent you. So, you will also need to read the first document in order to get all the info you need as a participant/leader of Go Out Be In. H O W T O A R R I V E The easiest way to arrive is from Copenhagen: if you arrive at Kastrup Airport, you can find ticket machines of Öresundståg train company to Växjö city so you can buy the ticket directly in the machines for approx. 330 SEK. And please send a message to us informing us about your arrival time in Växjö!

A C C O M O D A T I O N Participants in this exchange will live in a cottage in the forest. The cottage has one kitchen, three bathrooms and two showers. There are two sleeping rooms, one on the first floor and one in the second. The participants and leaders will sleep on camping mattresses on the floor and there will be around 15 people sleeping in the same room. There won t be provided mattresses or sleeping bags for the participants, so each participant need to bring his/her own mattress and sleeping bag. No Internet in the accommodation facilities. There is not Internet available in the cottage. Although, there is 3G coverage, so if you really, really need to access Internet, you can buy a Swedish SIM and pay for Internet access. Alcohol forbidden in the accommodation area. Note that the cottage where we will live is owned by the organisation Friluftsfrämjandet, who is an NGO that has a strong non-alcohol and drug policy, and because of this it s forbidden to consume alcohol in the cottage and in the area around. EQUIPMENT IN THE COTTAGE Speakers and music equipment will be available in the accommodation.

T H I N G S T O B R I N G - bath suit - rain clothes - proper shoes for the forest - towels -matress - bed sheets/sleeping bag - slippers / house shoes - outdoor clothes, shoes - Games (cards, board games, traditional games) T H I N G S T O B R I N G - (computer and camera: optional) - hygiene products - mosquito spray - water bottles ( tap water is really good in Sweden, you just need to bring a bottle to fill in every day and have it with you during the activities) Since we will have common activities and activities that each country-group will arrange together, we describe in detail what your group has to prepare in advance and bring for the activity week. Although summer can be very pleasant in Sweden, it is not uncommon to rain for several days. So please be prepared for rainy weather, bring proper clothes.

A C T I V I T I E S In this exchange we will be outdoors as much as possible and as much as the weather allows us to be! You can expect workshops, discussions, group work, games, sport activities and exercises, all taking place outside in the nature. There will also be working groups every day that will focus on three different subjects and activities: FOOD GROUP MEDIA GROUP ENTERTAINMENT GROUP Will be in charge of creating tasty dinners for the participants Will be in charge of documentation of the exchange by creating a memory book with information about the the participants and the activities. Will be in charge of planning and holding energizers for the group during the whole week and plan an event for the participants Each country group will be in charge of breakfast one morning as well as cleaning the cottage.

T H I N G S T O P R E P A R E B E F O R E T H E Y O U T H E X C H A N G E 1. A cultural activity to present your country and share aspects of your culture. The idea is that all the participants get the opportunity to know more about the countries involved in this exchange, so you will be given max 30 minutes to arrange some activity, performance, workshop, short event about your country. Please note that there are some rules you have to follow when arranging your cultural performance ;) You can NOT use any electronic device in your cultural activity (which means no computers, projectors or phones) except if the only purpose is to connect them with speakers. So, videos and powerpoints are not allowed, but music is welcome! You will have max 15 minutes to organize your cultural activity. Find creative ways to present and share your country! :) It would be great to have performances, music, theater, dances, food, etc. Please inform us about the material and equipment you need for your cultural activity!

2. A traditional (outdoor) game from your country. We will spend a couple of hours playing traditional games from the different countries, so each group need to bring a traditional game, preferably an outdoor game, but it is okey if it is a board game as well. 3. Food from your country (optional): you can bring some traditional food, snacks or ingredients from your country to eat and share during the international evening. No alcohol! Each country will be reimbursed max 10 Euros for the expenses with the traditional food (you will need to bring the receipts in order to be reimbursed!). Before buying stuff in your country, please check with us if it is possible to buy it in Sweden instead. There are a lot of international food available here.
