Day 1: 2 November 2018 - Campo Grande / Pantanal (Fazenda Baia das Pedras) Meet the group at 13:30 at the Tourist Information balcony (located in the arrival s lounge) of Campo Grande International Airport (CGR). Shortly thereafter, depart overland for the Pantanal by 4WD vehicles (300km/186 mi. or approximately 6h30min) across asphalt and sandy roads, crossing beautiful landscapes and amazing nature of the Pantanal wetlands. Upon arrival to the lodge, Fazenda Baía das Pedras, check-in and enjoy time at leisure to explore the lodge s surroundings and it s amenities. Dinner and overnight. (D). Day 2: 3 November 2018 Pantanal (Fazenda Baía das Pedras) Today, enjoy a full day of activities with breakfast beginning at 07:00. After breakfast, enjoy a three-hour horseback ride tour alongside traditional peões pantaneiros (local cowboys). Join in the peões s cattle ranching activities with lunch back at the lodge. This afternoon, depart at 15:30 for a 2.5 hour jeep safari. Search for wildlife and view the flora and fauna of the Pantanal before making a scenic stop to enjoy the sunset at Baía das thereafter. Dinner tonight is served back the lodge with overnight shortly Day 3: 4 th November 2018 - Pantanal (Fazenda Baía das Pedras/ Refúgio Primavera/Barra Mansa Lodge) Early risers can opt to join a bird walk departing the lodge at 05:30. Breakfast will be served at 0700 and afterward you will depart for a fantastic safari drive by 4WD vehicle, crossing spectacular areas full of nature, wildlife and colorful landscapes. You will be able to stop and photograph along the way at any time or according to the best opportunities. The route is beautiful, you will be mesmerized by the pristine environment and conservation of the area. Arrive around 11:00 at Pantanal bush camp Refugio Primavera. The Pantanal bush camp is a wild isolated refuge. The base camp s building is fully screened and equipped with 12 spots for guests to sleep in hammocks, kitchen with
wood stove, dining room, all very charming and illuminate by candle lights. Enjoy a delicious traditional lunch at the base camp. After lunch, continue to Barra Mansa Lodge. Check-in and explore the lodge s surroundings before meeting the group for a lovely sunset walking tour by the Negro River. Dinner and overnight at the lodge. (B,L,D). Day 4: 5 th November 2018 Pantanal (Barra Mansa Lodge) Enjoy breakfast at 07:00 and afterward depart on a full day of activities. Begin your tour with a exhilarating 1 hour jeep safari to the upper section of the Negro River and embark canoes to return downstream back to the lodge, about a 2 hour paddle. Enjoy lunch at 12:00 with time at leisure. In the afternoon, depart at 15:30 for a 2.5 hour horseback ride exploring lagoons, savannas and forests. Dinner and overnight at the lodge. (B,L,D). Day 5: 6 th November 2018 Pantanal (Barra Mansa Lodge) This morning, explore the Negro River further by boat and search for wildlife (2.5 hours). Return to the lodge with time at leisure and lunch at 12:00. This afternoon depart at 15:00 for a jeep safari (3 hours) to a salina (brackish water lagoon) for sunset. Return to the lodge in the evening for dinner and overnight. (B,L,D). Day 6: 7 th November 2018 Pantanal / Campo Grande After breakfast, depart overland by 4WD vehicles for another beautiful trip through the Pantanal (250km/155 mi, approximately 06 hours). Stop for lunch at 12:00 in Aquidauana. Continue to Campo Grande International Airport arriving around 15:00 and transfer to your AdventureNext hotel. (B,L).
