At least: 2 people. DAY 1 (Friday) GUATEMALA CITY Reception and assistance at the airport or bus station. Transfer to your hotel. Lodging. DAY 2 (Saturday) GUATEMALA CITY Chichicastenango Lago Atitlan - PANAJACHEL Breakfast. Early morning to Chichicastenango, located at the Guatemalan Central Highland, very important point of commerce due to its colorful market. Visit to Church of Santo Tomás. At El Calvario and Cemetery will be performed some Mayan rituals. Transfer to Lago Atitlan. Lodging. DAY 3 (Sunday) PANAJACHEL - Bote Santiago - Lago Atitlan - ANTIGUA GUATEMALA Breakfast. At 9:00AM, we will depart to take a boat tour to the indigenous town of Santiago Atitlan, located between Toliman and San Pedro volcanoes, after a great journey along the lake, arrival to the town and visit the Church of Santiago Apostol; the market in this town is permanent and you can buy any kind of season fruit and vegetables. Visit to Cofradia of Maximon, one of the expressions of syncretic religion of this country. At agreed upon time, return to Panajachel and transfer back to Guatemala City. Lodging.
DAY 4 (Monday) ANTIGUA GUATEMALA Breakfast. Whole day visit to Antigua, visit to the most important ruins of this colonial city, declared world heritage site and considered as one of the most beautiful colonial cities in the American continent. During the Colony period was the capital of Kingdom of Guatemala, which was extended over the south provinces, such as: Guatemala, El Salvador, Honduras, Nicaragua and Costa Rica, the third important in Latin America after Viceroyalty of New Spain (Mexico) and Viceroyalty of New Granate (Peru); political, cultural, religious and economical centre of Central America region, which stopped its growth and development due to an earthquake occurred in 1773; the city had to be vacated and translated to Nueva Guatemala de la Asuncion (official name of Guatemala City). On afternoon, visit to San Antonio Aguas Calientes and a coffee plantation. Lodging. DAY 5 (Tuesday) ANTIGUA GUATEMALA Tikal - FLORES Boxed breakfast. At 5:00AM transfer to the airport and flight to Tikal. Immediately arriving transfer to the archaeological site, the most important in the Mayan World; Tikal means: Place of Voices and founded during the Classic Mayan Period; our tour guide show us a scale model of the whole complex compounded by Temples and Acropolis. Visit to the complex Q and R and continue to central Acropolis: Temple 1 Great Jaguar and Temple 2 Figureheads, the first one is considered one of the most important inside the complex; visit to the Lost World. On afternoon return to visitor s room to have lunch. At agreed upon time, transfer to your hotel. Lodging. DAY 6 (Wednesday) FLORES Yaxchilán PALENQUE Breakfast. We will travel to Usumacinta River, natural border between Guatemala and Mexico. We will sail along the sacred waters of this river to the archaeological site of Yaxchilan City of Green
Rocks spectacular due to the surrounding environment. Continue by highway to Palenque. Lodging. Dinner at the hotel. DAY 7 (Thursday) PALENQUE CAMPECHE Breakfast. Visit to majestic archaeological site of Palenque, surrounded by a thick green jungle, one of the most representative of the Mayan civilization due its beautiful constructions. The most important historical discovery of this civilization, was in the Temple of Inscriptions, in where was found the King Pakal s sarcophagus with an engraved tombstone; it s very important to visit the Temple of the Foliated Cross, Temple of the Sun and the Palace. Lunch by your own. Continue to Campeche. Dinner included at the hotel. Lodging. DAY 8 (Friday) CAMPECHE Uxmal MERIDA Breakfast. City Tour at Campeche. After that, departure to Uxmal, visit this archaeological site with a great archaeological beauty, the Fortune-teller s Pyramid, Square of the Nuns, Governor s Palace, and the Ball Game. Lunch and continue to Merida, the White City in where we will make a brief tour visiting: Paseo Montejo, Homeland Memorial and the Main Square with the Cathedral and the Government Palace. Lodging. DAY 9 (Saturday) MERIDA Chichen Itzá CANCUN Breakfast. Departure to Chichen-Itza, the most recognized Mayan city in Mexico. Visit to the archaeological site, where some advanced astronomic acknowledgments are revealed; in here is located the phased pyramid called Temple of Kukulkan, the Ball Game, Platform of Skulls, Temple of Jaguars, the Observatory, the Square of the Thousand Columns, Sacred Cenote. Arrival to the
majestic Cenote Ik-Kil, in where we can swim in its crystal clear waters. Lunch. Continue to Cancun. Lodging. DAY 10 and 11 (Sunday and Monday) CANCUN Breakfast. Free days to make various activities or simply to enjoy this paradisiac beach. DAY 12 (Tuesday) CANCUN Breakfast. At agreed upon time, transfer to the airport or bus station. END OF SERVICES
