Camp is a fun place for your child to meet friends and learn new skills. However, at our YMCA you can also expect that your child will benefit by learning lifelong skills and to become an exemplary person with exceptional character. Throughout the summer, campers will have the opportunity to participate in a variety of activities that teach our character and values while being encouraged and recognized for demonstrating these values throughout their camp experience. YMCA character counts! At the Y, we know that it is vital that children are engaged in activities in which they are continuously learning and providing experiences that build self-esteem. YMCA summer camps include programs where children learn by using technology, hands on experience, being active and socializing with peers. We know that the quality of your child s camp experience hinges on the excellence of our staff members. Because our staff team means so much to each of our campers, we focus on selecting, retaining and training the best camp leaders. Our staff members are engaging, energetic, fun and excited to spend each day teaching your child. Enroll your child in a YMCA summer day camp! It is a guaranteed investment in your child s future!
