AMC1FCL.1015 Examiner standardisation GENERAL The competent authority may provide the course itself or through an arrangement with an ATO or, in the case of examiners for sailplanes and balloons, with a DTO. This arrangement should clearly state that the ATO is acting under the management system of the competent authority

Inspection of a DTO should at least focus on: Existence of safety policy statement Adequacy regarding DTO activities; Actions, if applicable; Flight training in accordance with DTO training programme, conduct and standards Training records Use of FSTD Operating sites and associated facilities as appropriate Existence of appropriate measures to achieve objectives of safety policy
