Company Profile TRIBE was created as a limited company in the UK in 2003 when Stefan Breg joined forces with Andrew Shipley. Stefan was previously a board director of Hilton Group and Andrew had operated the successful design company ADI since 1986. The intention was to create a unique F&B consulting company that combined strategy with design. TRIBE nurtured the creative force of its team to launch concepts which won awards in London as well as Michelin stars. In turn, TRIBE have developed unique decision making tools for developers to apply in complex mixed unit developments. TRIBE has focused on growth markets which included Russia and the Middle East. TRIBE s activities in the UAE began in 2003. Since then, our International work includes Oman, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, Syria, Lebanon, India, Russia, Kazakhstan and recently tendering for work in Libya. TRIBE has played a major part in re shaping Abu Dhabi from the masterplanning of major developments to a significant role in the Grand Prix. In recent months, TRIBE have been enlisted by the leading developer, MAF to design a new foodcourt and by Cavalli Club to develop their international franchise. Both Stefan Breg and Andrew Shipley were recently made professors of the region s no1 hospitality management school: Emirates Academy. 2

Hakkasan, London Europe's no1 high end oriental restaurant, TRIBE were enlisted to develop an international development schedule and identify investors. Hakkasan was subsequently acquired by an agency of the Abu Dhabi government. Hakkasan launched at Emirates Palace in June 2010 to add to the London and Miami sites.
