The teachers work session at Osnova skola Jurja Dobrile Frederic Samuel is presenting the project Carole Foulon and Vincent Samuel are talking about pupils mobilities The first work session of an international Erasmus + project I.M.A.G.I.N.E was held in Croatia in Rovinj at basic school Osnova skola Jurja Dobrile. Each country was represented by 2 or 3 teachers. A large team that already had some experience in participating in such international projects gathered in one place. The vision of I.M.A.G.I.N.E project is - involve the teachers and students into the development of an interactive game, improve the ability to navigate in a new unknown environment and to deepen the knowledge of the latest IT as well as work and collaborate in an international team. A welcoming speech was presented by the headmaster Micholovic Isabella Colmelet, Pekka Kylkilahti and Mirco Nalesso are specifying the calendar of long and short mobilities Marin, who was glad that the meeting of all the participants of such an important project was held at his school and wished them all the best in their work. Each team had to present their country, school and the members of the project. Frederic Samuel, a representative of the coordinator of I.M.A.G.I.N.E project, introduced the participants with its content, goals, objectives, financial management and final product. Furthermore, a video conference was organised with European Cultural Centre in France. Sandra Doolan, an administration assistant of this centre, and Gishly Didon, a director of this centre, answered all the questions of the participants and wished them good luck in their further work. Vincent Samuel, who is from the town of Pau in France, introduced us with QR codes and their wide range of possibilities as well as with the structure of an interactive game. The pupils and teachers exchange issu- es were being discussed during the meeting. Also the schedule of short and long mobilities was specified. In addition, each participating school was appointed by a certain activity for which it will be responsible throughout the whole project. Finally, 6 themes were given to all the participants. And the main task is to make 3 photos for each theme, choose the most eye-catching ones representing each country s town and send them to France to two responsible teachers Cristine Barre and Bernard Jean- Philippe by 8 March. Page 4 WHAT S UP? During the art lesson The concert given by young pupils Spare time in Rovinj What an amazing Christmas town Rovinj!. The participants of I.M.A.G.I.N.E project had the possibility to experience the spirit of Christmas wandering in the narrow streets of an old town Rovinj after a hectic work day. A shimmering and enormous christmas tree, decorated houses, glittering shop windows all signs reflected the upcoming Christmas and New Year. All in all, the participants of the project spent their spare time walking along the pier enjoying the view of habouring yachts, ships and boats as well as admiring the archaeological sites and visiting the unique and distinctive places. And one of those places is the Eco-museum Batana founded by Giovanni Trani. The founder was pleased to tell about the history of the museum in detail and Harbouring yachts showed us different sizes of boats called batana made by his hands. The guests had the opportunity to taste mouth-watering Fritule baked by Giovanni Trani s wife. Free from work evenings were also planned carefully. The participants of the project really liked being taught the moves of salsa and scrolling towards the end of the evening everyone was able to dance it in a proper way. Songs and music evenings were memorable as well. Almost all participants were given a stage to play the piano or perform well-known songs in different languages. The concert shown at basic school Osnova skola Jurja Dobrile by its pupils was also unforgettable. The sound of guitars, the singing, the atmosphere everything was marvellous. In the end, all the participants of I.M.A.G.I.N.E project were cheering the pupils by thunderous applause.

Page 5 Furthermore, during work session breaks the participants of the project not only had the possibility to attend and observe the lessons, but also to participate actively by themselves. For example, make noodles, mold from clay, sing, and make some experiments. The mayor of Rovinj welcomed all the participants of I.M.A.G.I.N.E project, told the history of the town as well as presented the historical value of the buildings and paintings. The last evening spent in tavern was splendid. The participants of the project were able to taste the mouth-watering traditional dishes. Moreover, they were entertained by the famous folk ensemble, which sang the most popular Croatian folk songs. All in all, everyone was singing and dancing and without a doubt having one of the most magnificent evenings during the whole stay in mysterious Rovinj. Rovinj at night Recipe of Croatian pastries Fritule delicious Croatian pastries made for a speacial occasion Christmas Preparation: Mix flour together with the baking powder in a deep bowl. Then, take the eggs and add in some salt, yougurt and sugar and stir together well with a wooden spoon. Add the mixture into the bowl of flour and stir again by gradually pouring the milk. A thick batter should start to form, but you can use a whisk to mix the dough to make sure everything is well combined and that there are no lumps. You should have a batter with a dropping consistency, if it is a little thick, add some more milk. In a large deep pan, heat the oil and then quickly drop teaspoonfuls of the batter to the pan until you have around 8 cooking. Fry the mini Fritule on all sides, until they are golden brown. Carefully take the doughnuts out, drain in a bowl lined with kitchen paper. Once they re all cooked, sprinkle with powdered sugar and serve them warm. Ingredients: 2 eggs 2 spoons of sugar 1 yogurt 13 spoons of flour 1 table spoon of baking powder 1 spoon of oil 1 spoon of milk A pinch of salt Powdered sugar for coating Fritule
