Villa Chela Region: Costa Blanca Sleeps: 10 Overview Resplendent in white both inside and out, the cool Villa Chela is a contemporary 5-bedroom villa, located next to Moraira's Ifach golf course. This ultra-modern villa with infinity pool is just a short walk from bars and restaurants in San Jaime, with the centre of Moraira itself a little over 2km away accessible on foot via the nearby coast road. The south-facing villa is accessible via private gates, with steps leading up to the upper terraces which overlook the 10m x 5m pool. Spacious gardens are adorned with palm trees and pretty flowers. The areas around the pool feature six sun loungers, a pool table and a shaded seating area with sofa. There was also a barbecue and covered dining area, perfect for an evening s entertainment. Inside, you have a large modern dining room, lounge and kitchen with electric hob, fan oven, fridge freezer, dishwasher, microwave and coffee machine. In the living area, there s plenty of room to chill out, with a TV equipped with Freesat channels, a DVD player, and of course Wi-Fi throughout the villa. You take the stairs down to the five bedrooms on the ground floor, which include three doubles and two twin bedrooms. Two of the doubles have their en-suite bathroom, while the third features a king-size bed. All of the bedrooms, including the twins, have built-in wardrobes and air-conditioning. The three bedrooms which don t have en-suites share a large and gorgeous main bathroom with contemporary, free-standing bathtub. The villa features high-quality furnishings throughout, which add to a sense of luxury. The location of Villa Chela is excellent if you want to get around mostly on foot. It s easy to reach the nearest beach, supermarket, bar and cafés without the need to drive. In Moraira town, you have a lovely marina as well as two Blue Flag beaches and a host of top-rated restaurants to discover, and it s easy to drive to nearby Calpe, Jávea and Denia, among other picturesque destinations. Location & Local Information Once a small fishing village, now a popular resort, you can be sure of a warm welcome in Moraira. On the south eastern coast of Spain, roughly halfway between Alicante and Valencia, this Costa Blanca gem is a relaxing place to spend some time, with an attractive marina and easy-going beach life down at the Playa de l Ampolla. The town is very much geared up for visitors, so you ll find everything you are likely to need for an easy stay. You have banks and shops just a stone s throw from the seafront and, of course, many restaurants, cafés and bars to tempt you. Your only problem will be deciding which of the waterfront terraces to dine on, such is the abundance of choice in Moraira. Quality is good too, with many of the town s restaurants recommended by Michelin, and some of them star-rated. Festivals held throughout the door will give you a taste of real Spanish culture, and the surrounding area offers the chance to visit traditional villages as well as larger resorts and cities. Among the closest places of interest are pretty Jávea (certainly worth an excursion) and, slightly further up the coast, Denia with its ancient castle and ferry links to Ibiza and Mallorca. If you fancy heading inland, there are few more beautiful spots than the mountainous Serra de Bèrnia i Ferrer, perfect for hiking amidst stunningly rugged scenery so be sure to take your camera as well as your walking boots. You have another towering peak just north of Jávea too, in the form of Mount Montgó the wonderful natural park which bears its name stretches all the way to the coast. Page 4
