This application is for youth wishing to be a Counselor in Training (CIT) for Fayette County 4-H camp. Age for CIT s are youth age 14 to 15. The 2019 camp week will be with Franklin County 4-H. Location: J.M. Feltner 4-H Camp; London, KY : Monday, June 17 - Friday, June 21, 2019 To be considered for this leadership position, your application must be received by April 5, 2019. Due to the rising cost of camp, ALL COUNSELORS IN TRAINING ARE REQUIRED TO PAY $235.00. Any applications received after the April 5th deadline will be addressed on a case-by-case basis pending the need for additional CIT s at that point in time. You will not be considered registered for camp until all application paperwork and fees (unless applying for a scholarship) have been received this could result in you being placed on a waiting list. All Counselor In Training applicants will be interviewed this year, so it is VERY IMPORTANT to have your completed application in by the DEADLINE of April 5, 2019. The attached application contains the following items: application checklist, applicant information page, position description, recommendation form and counselor statement of understanding. You are also required to submit a current color photo of yourself with your application. Incomplete applications will be returned so that they can be corrected by the applicant. OUTPOST This year an unique camping experience is being offered this summer. Staying at the Outpost offers a more traditional camping experience where campers will spend their week in an open-air shelter rather than a cabin and enjoy a more rustic experience including making campfires at night.
