Dear Campers, Thank you for your reservation to participate at Camp Trask. Enclosed in this packet are several important documents that you will need to fill out and bring to camp with you. Medical Form: Every person coming to camp will need to have a completed medical form (youth and adults). Please complete Part A and B only. http://www.scouting.org/jamboree/home/healthandsafety/ahmr.aspx Permission Form: Every cub scout who is participating in the Shooting Sports listed need to have permission from a parent/guardian. This is Part A of the BSA medical form. Every boy scout will need the shooting sports permission slip that is attached. Please bring copies, as stated on the form. Campsites are assigned when your group arrives at camp based on the size of your group. We do not take request for campsites. Trask has flush toilets and shower facilities at no extra cost. BEARS: Camp Trask is located in the foothills of Monrovia and adjacent to National Forest Land. Bears and other animals can and will visit your campsite if you do not take the proper precaution as listed in our camping at Trask policy listed below. 1. All food must be stored in sealed containers 2. All food need to be stored in vehicles (not in the backs of Trucks) 3. No food is to be left out in ice chest or stored in or around cooking area or camp sites 4. No food is allowed in tents 5. Trash must be taken after each meal to the dumpster located behind the dining hall Cub Scouts Program Offering You are currently signed up for all three awards. You will be directed to the range when you arrive on Saturday morning. Boy Scouts You are currently signed up for one of three merit badges. Please have a Blue Card signed and ready for the merit badge. There are no prerequisites, but arrival on Friday is required. No additional fees for Archery. Rifle student fees cover the first 100 rounds. $3 for each additional 50 rounds. Shotgun student fees cover the first 50 rounds. $5 for each additional 10 rounds and clays. Once student qualifies, rounds will end.

NO animals/pets Anyone who brings any of the above listed items is subject to removal from camp. CP FIRE RINGS: The main camp fire ring will be overseen by Campmasters. No cooking over fire ring. There are NO fire rings in camp sites, open fires are not permitted. No wood fires at all until further notice due to high fire danger. Cooking at Camp: You will need to bring CP STOVE S ONLY (propane). Charcoal Cooking: At this time, no charcoal cooking is allowed. We will update the information as soon as the camp ranger notifies otherwise (subject to LA County and USFS Dept). All food should be stored in a closed container in your vehicle. There are a limited number of picnic tables at camp, please come prepared. The Greater Los Angeles Area Council is not responsible for any lost or stolen items while you are at camp. Be Prepared

Trask Scout Reservation Parking Rules and Regulations: This permit must be on your dash and legible by Camp Staff. PLEASE OBSERVE SPEED OF 15MPH IN CP Drive Safely on ALL camp roads and observe speed limit of 15MPH. Park your vehicle HEAD OUT in case of emergency evacuation. Park in Designated Parking Areas Only. Vehicles should remain Parked and not used for Transportation in Camp. Any Vehicle Double parked or Blocking Traffic is subject to Towing. Special use parking permits will be issued upon request. There is no riding in the backs of open truck beds and seat belt must be provided for every occupant. The BSA is NOT RESPONSIBLE for items lost or stolen from vehicles. 2017 Shooting Sports Weekend at Trask December 8-10, 2017 Gate Code: 8243 Directions to Trask Scout Reservation Take the 210 Freeway to the Mountain Avenue offramp, in Monrovia. Exit at Mountain, and turn north towards the mountains. Follow Mountain up to Foothill Blvd. Turn left on Foothill and follow it to Canyon Blvd. Turn right on Canyon Blvd. Follow Canyon Blvd. up the hill. After crossing Hillcrest Blvd., which has a stop sign, Canyon will fork. Stay on the right fork. There will be signs indicating Trask Scout Reservation and Monrovia Canyon Park. There is a combination lock at the entrance and a second combination lock at the Bridge. The combinations are changed weekly. Please note the combinations above. They are for the week/weekend that you are attending. One more thing the road into camp is paved and has some tight turns. DRIVE CAREFULLY!
