Situated in a prime position with excellent parking and public transport links in the busy Hyperdome Shopping Centre, 15 mins from Canberra CBD. The location is classified as District of Workforce Shortage (DWS), making it suitable and uniquely attractive for overseas trained Doctors. There are a few established medical practices in the area (all private billing), however they don t provide enough resources to meet present demand or manage projected growth in the area while meeting the needs of patients. The centre is equipped with the latest technology. It accommodates 7 doctors rooms, a treatment room, in-house Pathology, a large comfortable waiting room, a back office, staff kitchen and bathroom. Nurse and administrative support and well trained reception staff make the centre a patient-friendly place and create an efficient and pleasant work environment for doctors. Hyperdome Medical Centre has already been expanded once since opening due to ever increasing patient numbers. Currently all services are 100% bulk billed, however this may change in the future. The centre is open 7 days a week; 7am 9pm on weekdays and 8am 4pm on weekends. Outside regular opening hours patients are seen through our deputising service. Patients are encouraged to make appointments in advance, either over the phone or online. From its opening Hyperdome Medical Centre attracts about 1000 new patients a month. This trend is expected to continue over the next several years. TUGGERANONG - ACT The district of Tuggeranong is the southernmost centre of our Nation's capital, Canberra. The district comprises 19 suburbs and occupies 117 square kilometres to the east of the Murrimbidgee River.
