In general terms, the purpose of Development Regulations Amendment No. 40, 2009 is to rezone land south of the Conception Bay south Bypass at Legion Road to Regional Centre (RC). The existing Gateway development will also be rezoned Regional Centre (RC). Land along the Lower Gullies River will be rezoned Open Space Conservation (OSC). The amendment to the Development Regulations also specifies the range of uses as well as development standards for the Regional Centre (RC) Land Use zone. The Conception Bay South Municipal Plan Amendment No. 33, 2009 and Development Regulations Amendments No. 40, 2009 will come into effect on the 15 th of June, 2012, the date of publication of this notice in The Newfoundland and Labrador Gazette.
