Events Calendar Events for 11 September 2011 NEW EVENTS Queens Wharf What s on Sunday 11 September 2011 at Queens Wharf Family weekend Carnival Queens Wharf will come alive for the first family-friendly weekend with a programme of carnival fun throughout the day. Expect colourful characters, great live music and dance performances to entertain the entire family. RWC 2011 Matches live on the big screen 3.30pm Australia vs Italy live from North Harbour Stadium 6pm Ireland vs USA live from New Plymouth 8.30pm South Africa vs Wales live from Wellington A Hub of Highlights ANZ World: at 16m high and using the latest in technology and entertainment, it will offer a truly unique interactive experience. Heineken Experience: fresh from the Champions League Finals Festival in London, this bar and entertainment offering will feature in Shed 10. Brancott Estate wine bar: go inside The Cloud to enjoy award-winning wines and attend tastings with expert winemakers. RWC 2011 match Australia v Italy When: 11 September 2011, kick-off 3:30pm Where: North Harbour Stadium, Auckland What: Watch Australia take on Italy in this pool C match of Rugby World Cup 2011 at North Harbour Stadium. For more information about the tournament visit www.rugbyworldcup.com. Getting There North Harbour Stadium is located on Oteha Valley Road, Albany, Auckland. Public Transport Special event bus trips to and from games are free with your RWC 2011 match ticket. Note there is no rail service to North Harbour Stadium. Special event buses Travel will be free for 3 hours before the match and approx. 1 hour after the match or until the crowd has cleared. A special event bus terminus will be developed in the Hooten s car park, on the northern side of Oteha Valley Road, where patrons will have a small walk to the venue. Special event bus services will operate to and from Midtown, Downtown, Takapuna via the Northern Busway, Manukau, Botany, Pakuranga and Orewa. Visit maxx.co.nz to plan your journey. Driving A special event bus shuttle loop will operate to the venue from the Bush Road Industrial estate where ample car parking is available. There is no public parking at North Harbour Stadium. Restricted parking zones will be in place around North Harbour Stadium from 3 hours before the match and for approx. 1½ hours after the match. Parking officers will be in attendance and illegally parked vehicles will be towed away. Taxis A dedicated rank will operate from Don McKinnon Drive, near Appian Way.
