After immigration and customs, you will be transferred comfortably to your hotel (check-in after 1600 hours). Cox & Kings takes care to schedule your sightseeing only the next day so that you can relax after your long flight and get over your jetlag. Get acquainted with some of London's iconic landmarks like the Tower Bridge, Tower of London, the River Thames. Continue your tour to Hyde Park, Big Ben, Westminster Palace, Westminster Abbey, St. Paul's Cathedral, The London Eye, the famous Piccadilly Circus, Nelson's Column at Trafalgar Square followed by the majesty of Buckingham Palace which is the Queen's official residence. Also witness the Changing of the Guard (subject to operation). Then, experience the thrill as you ride the London Eye, the world's fourth tallest Ferris wheel. During the gradual 30-minute flight, enjoy views of London. Later, enjoy some leisure time at Oxford Street and then reunite in the evening at a pre-appointed time and place as informed by your Tour Manager. Overnight in London. Breakfast at the hotel and dinner at an Indian restaurant / hotel Day 03 London - Paris Today, proceed to Folkstone to cross the English Channel through the Eurotunnel or drive to Dover to take the ferry and arrive in Calais. Drive through beautiful landscapes to Paris, the 'City of Lights'. On arrival, check-in to your hotel. Here we relax for a bit, freshen up and then head out to feast on a wonderful Indian dinner. Overnight in Paris. Breakfast at the hotel and dinner at an Indian restaurant Day 04 Paris After breakfast at the hotel, proceed on our highly recommended and fun- filled exclusive excursion to Parc Asterix. Here, 7 adventure areas, 27 attractions and 6 shows will set your heart racing. Thrilling rides and incredible shows make it a complete family attraction. Later, enjoy a guided city tour seeing famous monuments like the Pyramid of the Louvre, Garnier's Opera, the largest opera theatre in the world, the River Seine, the Place de la Concorde - the site of the infamous guillotine, the Champs Elysees - one of the most fashionable streets in the world, the Napoleanic Arc de Triomphe and the Hotel des Invalides. Grevin, a legendary site of entertainment since 1882, was created by Alfred Grevin, to produce and showcase life size wax models of celebrities. At the end of the 19th century, Arthur Meyer, founder of the famous daily newspaper "Le Gaulois", conceived the notion of showing his readers the people in the headlines of his paper, but in 3-D. At a time when the press did not use photographs, he came up with the idea of creating a site where the public could see people in the news. To implement this original plan, he called on Alfred Grevin, who was a cartoonist, designer and famous sculptor. The Grevin opened its doors on June 5th, 1882. It was an immediate success. An everlasting snow mountain, offering panoramic views of the most beautiful summits of the Alps. Ascent is by cable car to Scex Rouge (2971m). Feel a special adrenaline kick with a wild ride on the Alpine Coaster (weather permitting), the world's highest bobsleigh track. You can cruise along at approx. 40 km/hour and with the brakes you determine how fast you want to go. The ultimate highlight is the 520-degree loop, followed by 10 curves, 6 waves, 3 jumps and 2 bridges. The View Point (stairs) located directly behind the Restaurant Botta 3000 has a 360-degree view that includes some of the most beautiful alpine peaks - from the Eiger, Monch and Jungfrau to the Matterhorn and the 107 meters Peak. Walk along a suspension bridge and take the Ice Express to ride the snow bus over the glacier. Then, return to Col du Pillion. Later, drive to Lucerne. En route, your drive today takes you to the Principality of Liechtenstein and a stop at Vaduz - the capital, famous for postage stamps. Later, proceed to Austria. Stop at the internationally renowned Swarovski Crystal Worlds in Wattens, and prepare to be dazzled at the 'Chambers of Wonder'! In a wondrous blue hall dominated by a Unicum - a wall of crystal, you see the world's biggest crystal and it's smallest! Over 7 million people from all corners of the globe, have already been thrilled by the Swarovski experience - now you are one of them! Continue a scenic drive to Innsbruck. Located on the Inn River, Innsbruck is one of Europe's most beautiful and lively cities. An international centre for winter sports which has hosted the Winter Olympics twice! Nothing prepares you for the captivating city of canals and palaces - Venice is simply unique! Built on 117 small islands, it is a pedestrian's city, so get set for a walking tour. Cruise from Tronchetto Pier and glide romantically past fairytale palaces, through incredible miniature canals to the Piazza San Marco (St. Marks Square), where you disembark. Napoleon dubbed the Square the 'finest drawing room in Europe' for its constant carnival atmosphere! Witness the bronze Moors striking the hour, as they have been doing for the past 500 years! From there to the Doge's Palace, connected by the 'Bridge of Sighs' to its prisons. It was from here that the legendary lover Casanova made his famous escape! It boasts a priceless art collection and is probably per square foot the richest country in the world! The most famous square of the Vatican is St. Peter's Square with St. Peter's Basilica, one of the largest churches in the world. Gaze in awe at Michelangelo's Pieta. Continue your tour driving past the triumphal Arch of Constantine, one of the most important commemorative monuments of antiquity and then drive through Piazza Venezia, where the grandiose monument to the reunification of Italy is often referred to as the Marble wedding cake! Pass the Circus Maximus - the Hippodrome - known for its ancient chariot races, which was reconstructed by Hollywood for the well known movie 'Ben Hur'! Pay tribute to the brave Gladiators of Rome, while we drive past the mighty Colosseum. At this amphitheatre, the notorious and gory gladiatorial games were held, where they fought one another and wild animals while the crowd roared! A deviation charge of INR 2500 per person, in addition to the applicable difference between the group airfare within the package holiday tour cost and the market airfare for the changed sector / date, will be applicable. Once an air ticket is issued, date change penalty and rerouting charges (as applicable) will be charged. For two adults and two children (both under 12 years) rooming together, the 1st child will have to pay "Child with Bed" price and the 2nd Child will pay "Child without Bed" price. Itinerary is subject to change or alteration before or during the tour without notice due to feasibility of operation. Due to space restrictions in the coach, you are permitted to carry only one main bag (preferably strolley) and one hand bag on your tour. There are no refunds for any services i.e. meals, sightseeing, etc not utilized on your tour. The tour manager and driver will do their best to get you as close to the monuments as possible, because in some cities coaches are restricted. Additional supplements on account of fuel hikes as and when received would be applicable with immediate effect. The tour will be operated, subject to a minimum of 20 full paying adult passengers travelling together. In a room, there can be maximum of 3 adults. As a 3rd person in a Triple Room, most hotels use roll away beds or 2 queen size beds and the room size will be the same as a Double Room. In the event that the group size is less than 30 adult passengers, you will be given an option of travelling on an FIT basis, by paying an additional FIT Supplement. The tour will be conducted on a Seat-in-Coach basis for a group strength of 2-29, with the assistance of a local representative. Any damage caused to the hotel rooms / coach during your stay, shall be borne by the concerned passengers. The management reserves the right to claim any additional expenses incurred due to delay or changes in schedules of train, airplane, bus, ship or any other services. The company shall not accept any liability or responsibility for any damages, loss of baggage, loss, injury, accident, death, breakdown or irregularity, which may occur in carrying out tour arrangements due to weather conditions, strikes, war, threat of war, quarantine or any other cause whatsoever and all such loss or expenses must be borne by the passengers.
