01 EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
01 EXECUTIVE SUMMARY Nakheel engaged RSP to design this tower in Dubai with a vision to build a landmark, a state of the art Hotel Tower, that stands iconically as a symbol on The Palm. The proposed design of the 220 meter tall Tower draws from the location on the Palm and the height of the building. Nakheel Mall Hotel, a unique five star hotel, will be located on the world s largest man-made island shaped in the form of a palm tree, The Palm Jumeirah. The building will be the tallest building on the Palm. It flowers of the Palm and the facades blossom at the top and bunch together at the bottom to appeal for structural stiffness. The facades peel of and bloom at the top to unveil The fruit located in the sky. The petal, which will house the highest panoramic restaurant on the Palm, will provide visitors with an exclusive dining experience in the sky. The concept of the tower is inspired by the magnificent dxate palm tree. The facade symbolically represent the thick canopy of gorgeous bluish- green pinnate leaves that the palm tree features. Erect and ascending, the leaves are stiff and have sharp spines at their base which is the hotel base.
