It was discussed and agreed that GJEPC to give confirmation of the companies participating under India pavilion to start planning for the next VICENZAORO January 2019. Mr. Fabrizio also insisted to give tentative sqm for September Vicenza Oro Fall 2018, enabling him to start marketing the vacant booths, for which it was informed that post Hong Kong Show, GJEPC will contact the members and inform him about the space requirements of the September edition. 3 rd March 2018 : 3.30 pm : Meeting with HKTDC- Organisers of Hong Kong Intl Jewellery Show 2018: Ms Wenky Yip, - HKTDC Exhibition Dept Ms Queena Lo : HKTDC Exhibition Dept Ms Dennis Chan - PEC dept. of HKTDC Mr Wayne Chug, - PEC dept. of HKTDC Ms Doris Chan PEC dept. of HKTDC Comnet : Ms Chandrika Behl - Director Mr Pranab Singh - Asst. Manager GJEPC

AGENDA OF MEETING : To Discuss the Indian Participation at HKIDGPS & HKIJS. EXHIBITION:- GJEPC has raised the concern over reduction of the total sqms of India Pavilion every year and companies cancelling from pavilion, joining the show from other countries i.e. Hong Kong, Thailand etc. GJEPC also expressed their disappointment over members of India Pavilion encouraged by HKTDC by offering booth directly however HKTDC said that the options were limited for them. HKTDC also stressed that the company should have their say regarding their participation from any country or pavilion. However HKTDC will inform GJEPC from next time if anything similar happens. GJEPC informed HKTDC to share the list of all the Indian companies (New & Old) with GJEPC so that GJEPC will have a chance to speak with them and convert them in India Pavilion, for which they agreed. GJEPC informed HKTDC that this year they want to start the booking early this year in order to have more time to expand the India pavilion by recruiting more companies. GJEPC has confirmed the same location as this year to HKTDC for 2019, so that it can be shared with the exhibitors and confirm their space under India pavilion. HKTDC agreed to share the floor plan by end of April 2019. GJEPC requested HKTDC to reduce the raw space rate in order to attract more exhibitors in India pavilion however HKTDC being a semi-govt organisation cannot do the same for only 1 country and HKTDC needs to be transparent for all the parties. It was discussed with the organisers that from next year GJEPC will be little flexible in terms of the exhibitors demand, for example if any company wants to be in special section at level 3 and not in regular GJEPC s pavilion at Hall 5, in that case HKTDC can give the required space to GJEPC and then GJEPC will allocate the interested leads. This may further promote the Indian companies to participate through GJEPC thus increasing the total numbers. Since the space is limited in level 3 so it depends on the availability at the time of allocation. HKTDC requested to pay 50% of the total space booked by September 2018, if GJEPC start the booking for next year from April end 2018 only. Simultaneously HKDTC PEC team also met GJEPC to sponsorships for the India Pavilion: HKTDC PEC team expressed their disappointment on GJEPC dropping all the PEC items this year and requested GJEPC to resume the same from next year as the relation between HKTDC PEC team & GJEPC is old and based on mutual benefits. As GJEPC is planning to resume their advertisement from next year and want to have all the options from PEC team, PEC team has provided GJEPC all the required material and GJEPC has to finalise the items by April end 2018 in order to secure the slot for 2019 edition. In addition to the above, GJEPC has requested for all the digital platforms availability. The same has been provided to GJEPC and GJEPC is requested to confirm/revert their interest by April-end.

3 rd March 2018 : Meeting with the Organisers of Singapore Intl Jewelry Expo 2018 (SIJE 2018) Ms. Judy Lee : Executive Director; CEMS GJEPC Action Points : Discussed following points: GJEPC insisted Ms. Judy Lee to give 20% on the space rental offered to India Pavilion.
