This year we say goodbye to our secretary, Ashley, who has done so much to give our communications platforms a much needed upgrade. We would now like to introduce our new candidates Lian Andrade De La Torre "I'm Lian Larracas Andrade De La Torre, I'm a mother of 3, an Electronics Engineer by day and a baking enthusiast at night. I would like to be part of the WFHOA board for several reasons: I want to serve our community, at the same time meet our neighbors, and be more engaged in our community that we had not had the opportunity since moving into the neighborhood in 2016. When we saw a request for volunteer opportunities for WFHOA, my family and I agreed to help where help was needed, which includes providing help putting up and taking down the decorations and a need for a secretary position. My family and I enjoy contributing to the community often when we see the opportunity such as serving for Nana's house, volunteer at our home church and serve the homeless at Daily Bread. I held a treasurer position for Northrop Grumman Society of Women Engineers, I am part of a church home-group and very proficient in Microsoft Office which I feel makes me a qualified candidate for the secretary position. Thank you for your time and consideration." Janet Smith My name is Janet Smith. My husband, Doug, and I moved to Wickham Forest last summer from Boynton Beach. We moved specifically to be closer to our grandchildren. Some are local in Melbourne, and some east of Orlando. We ve loved spending loads of time with them and being more involved in their lives. I m a retired elementary school teacher, having taught grades 1-4, and English Language Learners for 30 years. Doug continues to work for his south FL company by working from home. I enjoy various crafts, including painting kindness rocks and placing them for others to find and enjoy. We attend church, and are part of a small group from Coastline Community Church. I think I d enjoy giving a portion of my time to an outside activity, hence my interest in our HOA board. Our current President, 1st/2nd V. Presidents, and Treasurer are also running. 1

A Note from the 2nd Vice President We do not single out specific homeowners for violations. Signs were up advising about pressure washing/mildew on houses and roofs. The board does not as a whole feel we should have to tell someone who owns property that they need to take care of basic preventive maintenance, i.e., pressure washing, mildew removal and painting. We as board members wish we never had to send out violation notices (letters) but we, as homeowners, when purchasing in Wickham Forest, knew we were buying in a deed restricted community and as such would be held to a higher standard. I and, if nothing else, we, as homeowners, should be proud of our own homesteads and want to keep them and all property values in Wickham Forest as high as possible!
