The bus will leave from Nice central train station (Gare de Nice Ville, 12 Avenue Thiers) on Wednesday around 10 AM, and from the Nice airport, Terminal 1 bus station around 10:30 AM. We will also arrange bus transport back to the airport and train station on Saturday morning September 1 st (departing from Peyresq around 9 AM). If you are interested in joining us in one of those busses, please let me know in the Travel_details table. 2) If you arrive by train to Nice Central station How to reach the Gare de Provence Trains to Annot (closest train station to Peyresq) depart from the Station Gare de Provence NOT the central SNCF train station Gare de Nice Ville (see map below). From the central train station Gare de Nice Ville you have three possibilities to reach the Gare de Provence, rue Alfred Binet, which is the station for the trains travelling to Alpes de Haute-Provence ( Chemins de Fer de Provence ): 1) walk about 12 minutes (see map below); 2) take a taxi (some taxi companies numbers: - Central Taxi Riviera Nice : 0033 (0)4 93 13 78 78; - Taxi Nice: 0033(0)6 10 82 11 71 (email: information@taxi-nice.net) 3) take a tram (tram number 1 from Gare Thiers to Libération ). Note that there is no luggage deposit at the Gare de Provence.
From Gare de Nice Ville to Gare de Provence, Chemins de Fer de Provence Travel from Gare de Provence to Annot The train goes to Digne-les-Bains: http://www.trainprovence.com/pages/en/236/plan-delaligne.html Annot is about halfway. Do NOT get off at the Peyresq station. Please note that there are five trains to Annot each day: 06:55, 09:25, 13:05, 17:15 and 18:13, arriving at Annot: 08:51, 11:06, 14:49, 19:08 and 20:01. Annot to Peyresq You will be fetched by taxi or by us from Annot to Peyresq. Annot is a small station so there will not be a taxi waiting for you unless it has been ordered in advance. So if you want me to help you with ordering a taxi, please let me know your schedule. 3) If you arrive by flight to Nice Airport Bus from Nice airport to central station: Bus 99 from terminal 1 and 2 There are two terminals at the Nice airport. The bus number 99 goes directly to the central SNCF train station Gare de Nice Ville from both terminals. An adult single ticket costs EUR 6.00. The buses run every 30 minutes, and it takes about 20 minutes to reach the city center. Take a taxi to the station Lingostière (takes about 10-15 minutes from the airport). The train stops at Lingostière 15 minutes after leaving the Gare de Provence.
